I think Sancho could shine as a number 10 in this team if we pushed Fernandes slightly back and allowed Sancho to play centrally with attackers all around him I think his creativity with the ball we saw at dortmund would come back out. Especially with a true number 9 like he had with Haaland in Kane.

I think he spends too much time on the ball for a 10. Not that it's bad but that's a wingers trait. Bruno's transition play is second to none. He already knows his next pass before the ball even comes to him. That I think Sancho doesn't have.

Sancho is best on the RW, cutting inside, opening his body up and shooting isn't his game. Get him on the right playing little one two's, making underlapping and overlapping runs, looking to cross the ball into the box. He's more of a creator than a finisher, that's why let him look to cross the ball all day.

@@DraakMD I have to disagree bruno is best at finding holes in the defense to run up the pitch and attack from and stamina wise I think he could play a little further back on the pitch, passing wise there is much to ask for from bruno still from a creativity standpoint, Sancho has a lot of aspects to his gam that I would call somewhat akin to someone like Kevin de Bruyne and de Bruyne is oftentimes holding onto the ball from that creative midfield position Sancho would be better there than bruno imo because of Sancho first instinct to play-make and create for others, Bruno tends to be a bit of a wild cannon with the shots he takes.

I would agree with some of this (including that we're not getting a keeper) but I think I would be looking at: Kolo Muani for ST (cheaper and not having to deal with clubs who are difficult to negotiate with), Kang In-Lee for LW so that Rashford can be back up ST and Rabiot in midfield for free.

The perfect, and realistic summer transfer window: - Harry Kane: the Main striker for the next 3 to 4 years, or until World Cup 2026. He can also play as a 10 if Bruno gets injured. He will cost around 90 mil - Marcus Thuram on a free ( Back up striker ) : Sell Martial ! - Caicedo: great back up for both, Casemiro and Eriksen. he will cost around 70 to 80 mil. - Rabiot on a free ( Huge upgrade on Mctominay ) : Sell Mctominay ! Kim Min Jae: Perfect partner for Martinez. He will cost around 50 mil. Sell Maguire, Baily and Tuanzebe ! Frimpong : Pace and Power. Great crosses which we need. Can play both LB and RB. He will cost around 30 mil. Sell Williams and Telles ! The total will be around 250 mil. Selling Maguire, Mctominay, Baily, Telles, Williams, Henderson and Martial will make at least 100 to 120 mil.

The complete and total opposite to AWB. If Varane plays and Frimpong is outside it’s big, big trouble for that back line.

Great video. I’m glad that you calculated the actual net spend, which is something that no one else seems to be doing. It’s great to see that we’d be able to get around 150m from selling players, too. If anything, I think you undershot on the prices as well, so I think it’s more likely that it’ll go up than go down, if anything at all. The only thing I’d say is that Lavia has an asking price of 50m I believe? I could be wrong but that’s very expensive for what he is, although he is a great player for around 25m if we could get him for that. I also think we’d need more depth at CAM and RW. I feel like there’s too much trust/responsibility on Bruno. If he gets a freak injury and is out for the season, we are stuck with Fred or Amad playing CAM, which is not good enough. The same goes with Antony. If he’s unavailable, we have Amad, who has looked great in the Championship but hasn’t proven himself in the Prem. He could turn out to be great but he could also turn out to not be ready yet. If the second is the case, that’d leave us in a pretty bad position, imo. I mean, look at Chong. He’s been good in the Championship this season and he wasn’t exactly great for us. I like Kudus or Mount, who cover both positions. I saw today that Mount is going for 55m, which isn’t bad but I’d prefer him at 45m tbh. I believe Kudus is going for around 40-50m, which is a great option. Both players cover both the CAM and RW positions, like I said. If Casemiro is then unavailable, we could play Bruno next to Caicedo with Kudus in front of them. That’s a very strong backup option, imo. I’ve also seen that we’d have a transfer budget of £100m this season. Idk if that’s true or not but if it is, we might need to save some money in CM. Milinkovic-Savic is going for around 40m I believe, which is a bargain. Granted, he isn’t as good or as young as Caicedo but he is half the price and still a very good player. Also, Tielemans and Rabiot are both going on a free. I think we should sign one of them and possibly sell either Fred or Eriksen if necessary. Van den Boomen on a free is also a great option.

Football Daily made a really good point in their recent video. If Mount joins (as looks likely), Sancho and Antony as a rotating pair on the right will be deadly. Mount in that 8 spot instead of Caicedo is cheaper and he loves to sit in that right half-space (where he played best under Tuchel). This would allow Sancho and Antony to spend more time on the ball and be heaps less isolated than they have been.

Multipositional players as backups is so underrated. If we weren’t able to get lavia and Thuram, caicedo can play 6 if Casemiro is out, rashford can go up front on occasion which indirectly gets Sancho more minutes. Eriksen could mainly be an 8 but be the main backup for bruno at 10 for his rest

I like Kane over Osimhen, but don’t sell him short as a playmaker or “part of the build up.” I’ve seen him make plenty of great passes with Napoli so the potential is there. Kane is more realistic money and a better player at this moment

Mine would be In: Verbruggen £15M, Kim min Jae £45M, Timber £45M, Andre £25M, Rabiot free, Caicedo £80M, Lee Kang in £15 M, Kane £90M Out: Henderson £30M, Maguire, £30M, Jones free, Tuanzebe free, Wan Bissaka £35M, Telles £5M, Bailly £5M, Laird £5M, Mctominay £30M, Fred £20M, Van de Beek £10M, Elanga £10M All for for a net spend of £135 M I think Timber coming in and playing right back could massively help with playing out from the back and even though Wan Bissaka has been amazing he will always be a bit awkward on the ball, admittedly unlikely to happen this year but ideally we would do it. Also in an ideal world I would get rid of Martial but can’t see anyone signing someone so injury prone who is also on £250,000 a week! Sancho is a similar story as he’s on £350,000 a week and can’t see anyone wanting him.

I really like Caicedo. But I'm not sure about the idea of playing Casemiro in the "Eriksen role". We would be probably be better at controlling games from out of position, since Casemiro and Caicedo would be a very solid defensive pairing. But when we have possession and are building up play I think we might suffer if we stick Eriksen on the bench. Maybe the solution is that we play more like a 433 with Bruno and Caicedo as the dynamic 8s on either side of Casemiro. That way Bruno can come deeper and do some of the "quarter backing" from deeper. This could maybe also work with Kane having the tendency to drop into the pocket in midfield.

De Gea - None of the available alternatives being touted are a big improvement imo. Better with the ball at their feet, but not as good at shot stopping. It wouldn't be so obvious that a change would necessarily improve the team, and there are other positions that more desperately need sorting out. The best defences are where players cover each others weaknesses, and that includes between CBs and GKs. Min-Jae - would be a great signing in pretty much everyone's opinion I think Lavia - Can't say I know much about him, other than to say he sounds like a good prospect Caicedo - There's gonna be a lot of clubs after him. I don't think 80M will be enough to get him Kane - I think he's currently better than Osimhen, and would suit Uniteds style better. As much as I like the idea of getting in a young striker and building the team around him, Kane is the guy to go with if you need an instant impact. My biggest concern would be Daniel Levy dragging out the sale. Thuram - He's more of a left winger than a striker. If he wasn't free, he wouldn't be in the conversation tbh

Very nice. Almost exactly like mine. I have Mainoo as Casemiro backup with Caicedo as the only midfield addition with Fred as backup. By the way, Casemiro plays on the right side of that pivot. Eriksen as Bruno backup. If you look at yours and compare with mine, "perfection" can be achieved with only 3 signings... we can achieve that without signing Lavia and a backup keeper; tells you that this selection of yours is very very realistic.

Who would realistically buy Maguire for over £20m? Only Premier League teams and a few top European clubs have any money and I just don't see anybody coming in for him where he'd also be prepared to go. Same as McTominey. Henderson might fetch a little more. Spurs I don't think will sell to another English team and Real Madrid need a striker for 2-3 years to bridge between Endrick and Benzema so Spurs would rather sell to a team abroad I think. Obviously could be wrong but I think it's optimistic thinking Utd will be able to sell any of their fringe/squad players for over £20m

Ten Hag would probably want to buy Denzel Dumfries from Inter as right wing back. Antony likes to cut inside and shoot with left foot, but therefore he needs a right wing back who can overlap 40x a game. Dumfries can do that. Also, Dumfries can cross the ball perfectly to Kane from the sideline (which was huge lacking this season: good service to the striker). Finally, he’s a great defender to boot. … ok he will be expensive, especially if Inter win UCL tonight.

For a cheaper solution at CB, Instead of Kim, Sporting CP, 21Y/o Diomande is one of the best players in the position for his age. After Dalot signed an extension I'm a bit torn on RB. I think AWB did a pretty good job and he's a lot stronger in defense than Dalot even though he's not good enough in supporting the offense. IMHO, Dalot is not good enough in attacking to fulfill what we need and just okay in defending. We need an upgrade in RB who can fully support our attacking and not compromising the defense. Bottom line neither Dalot nor AWB is good enough to compete with the Top 4 teams.

- I think we should pursue Tielemans (FREE), saving 70m on Caicedo - Instead of Caicedo, we should consider getting Mitoma from Brighton (competition for Antony / Sancho) and/or future backup for an aging Shaw. - Get Kim Min-Jae as main CB - Save money on Goalkeeper this season. Great analysis......but I feel there might be some under valuation on the net spend( lavia definitely won't be for 25m....bcos he was bought for somewhere that figure and there are other club out there who would want to sign him.Also there is also other option of him staying put bcos he is quite young and the club might want to nurture him for higher profits later on).for the new GK you didn't put a valuation on him and that should also bump up the valuation.for the outgoing I think this to is also overestimated (my view on this is because most of the lads on that list, apart from martial, Henderson and Maguire haven't really had reasonable game time in the previous season. It might be difficult to convince potential buyers on those figs). Realistically I will focus on primary targets; a ST (shouldn't be above the £100m valuation), a CDM (Caciedo is ok if they can get it done bcos there are other competitors), And Kim Min jea(a must, especially for the way ETH wants to play)

Thuram is going elsewhere (we arent that lucky, even on a free). I also dont want Kane (who will last two years at best given the intensity and frequency we play at - £100m just makes this another Sanchez/RvP signing....years sitting on the bench injured and costing a fortune). I seem to be seeing more about MacAlistar linked to us rather than Caicedo (wouldnt mind either) but both will be in same price bracket. I think we need a no 6 more than we need a no8 though.....so an "understudy" for Casemiro is more important for me as Bruno can fill in for Eriksen, but no one can really fill in for Casemiro. I also think Right back is a major weakness - Im not convinced by Dalot going forward at all, sell him in part exchange for Frimpong and keep AWB for "full defensive option".

Might as well bring in Rice fior Lavia if it's that cheap overall. Man City have multiple world class players in the same position. We won't compete for the league with that squad there so a risk like Neymar would be an option and sell Sancho... Neymar can play Bruno's position with Rice and Casemiro adding extra support together behind when Bruno isn't feeling 100%. An attacking right winger is a must to compete for the league. Cancelo would be my choice if Qatar can get in and sort transfers in the next few weeks.
