Thank you for this informative video. I have a large Texas sage in my yard here in… Texas. I love this plant. We just had a very hard 7 weeks of 100 degree hot days with no rain or cloudiness. But last week we had historically heavy rains, and as soon as the rain stopped there were buds on the Texas Sage. In 24 hours it was in full bloom and, as always, absolutely covered in honey bees. Not just a lovely plant, but also an exciting one!

I’m glad to hear your experience. Basically, Texas Sage isn’t a sensitive plant, rather, it’s known for it sturdy characteristics. Also, as per my experience, 100 degrees Fahrenheit isn’t too high for this plant. I’m in India right now, and here, it’s very often for the temperatures to go beyond 40 degrees Celsius in summers, which is nearly 104 degrees Fahrenheit. But this plant easily survives that weather. One more thing, please be cautious while watering this plant. Overwatering can clog it’s roots, thus leading in plant’s death. Rest, this plant is native to your region, I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it well.👍

I hope you are not over watering your Texas sage or regularly showering the Texas sage plant. This plant requires full sunlight to thrive well and less water... Less water doesn't mean that you stop watering your plant completely, please check the soil moisture before watering. I hope this helps! :)

The leaves resemble succulents . Am I right?

Well, the leaves of Texas sage give a velvet sort of appearance. But they are nowhere close to succulents.

If i plant it in monsoon from Cutting then will it survive?
@ParthMayn
@ParthMayn 2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Take hardwood cuttings (Matured ones) to propagate Texas sage and plant it directly in the soil... Make sure you remove its 80 to 90% of its leaves before starting the propagation procedure... For better results, try propagating 4,5 cuttings... Hope that helps! Good luck👍

Hello, You can check out your nearest plant store... If its not locally available, you could try finding it out through online plant stores or sometimes even facebook marketplace can help you with the same, but not sure.
