I bought a 2023 GTI se 170 for the same reasons you list, family purchase. After enjoying the heck out of it. I went and bought a 2023 fx svho. The yamaha had an issue at hour 5. Was serviced and on hour 13 it stalled and left me and family put in the Gulf of Mexico. Took 6 hours to tow the might FX back in. The less expensive GTI saved the day and got both skies and wife and kids back to shore. Always thought it would be the yamaha pulling the sea doo.

I have a 2022 Kawasaki 310x and DID PUT the dual USB port on mine. Great minds think alike Kevin! 😊 (and a kspeed ecu upgrade hehehe)

Just picked up a 23 GP 1800 SHVO I sold my 22 GP 1800HO. First time on an SVHO... what a HUGE difference in acceleration! Also noticed the gas gauge moves faster too.

I too am sold on the 2023 Kawasaki ultra 310- the dilemma i face now is I don’t like the colour of the 310x. But don’t need the ultra deck nor the rear camera with the LXS..what’s a wrap job on a ski cost? Would be more than the difference between the X and LXS so might aswell get the LXS. ahhh the decisions!

I just bought a Wake 170 and love it for the most part. Only thing I’ve been worried about is driving it with 3 people on it when going out wakeboarding. I am terrified I am going to tip it as it doesn’t feel very stable with 3 people. Am I doing something wrong? Is it stable enough for me to not worry about it. I’m hoping another ski will be added to the garage in the future. Will the ST3 hull be a lot more stable with 3 people on it? Finally, would the Riva Sponsons, or anything else help at low speeds with 3 people?

Had the same feeling. Feels rocky with 3 people. With 2 people at low speed as well. The foot wells fill with water and with everyone leaning the same way it wants to tip. Got to get the second one lol. We did

I absolutely love my gtx 300. Comfortably fit me 6'3 my gf and one of my kids while pulling the other on the tube. All with more than enough power.

I've been thinking about upgrading from a 2016 VXR into a FX Svho or a Sea Doo RXTX 300. Cannot decide between the two. I have considered everything on the market and these are the two ski's that fit my wants and needs. I know a lot of people who own and ride the RXTX, but only know 1 person with experience with the FX. It's a big dollar investment and I want to get the right one next time. So many pro's and cons to each . If Sea Doo got rid of the carbon seal I would go with them, If Yamaha completely redesigned the top deck and improved the storage and rear deck I would go with that. Still undecided between the two. These videos help us a lot in getting the information we have no other way of obtaining. So thank you all for your work.

I have a bias and I know that, owning a Sea-Doo GTR myself, but what I love about Sea-Doo is their innovation. Everything from the LinQ system to iBR to the easy-access front storage is well thought out and well designed. That said, it depends on what you're doing with the ski. If you're mostly riding solo and on rougher water, the Sea-Doo ST3 hull might let you down. But if you go out with family or friends, if you're mainly on rivers and lakes, or if you need to carry more cargo or passengers, that innovation will save you many headaches. As far as the carbon seal issue goes, they've been doing just fine the past couple years from what I hear, so I wouldn't be too concerned so long as you take the usual precautions to avoid sucking sand or grit into the pump. It should be noted that I'm not an expert, but I've done a fair bit of research myself and I've logged some decent hours on my own skis, so do with my advice what you will. Hope this helps!

I have the sound system on my 2022 GTI 170 se and other that impressing people totally pointless. you can't hear it when your riding and when your stopped it turns off after like 2 minutes

A "nimble" stx 160lx has proven to be peppy and not so tiny as the competition. Too bad they did not update it for 23/24 yet. I would have a Stx with like 220 HP smaller supercharger and new design that can hit 65/70 probably would choose it over the ultras. But probably kawasaki also knows this...
