Never heard about sand docker before. Gonna check it out. I’m mostly on lakes in fresh water, but standard 8# prong anchor doesn’t hold. Went to 15# river anchor, but it’s a bit too heavy and clunky. I’ll check out sand docker. Thanks!

I was grateful that you had covered this topic previously. Long story short, I found myself in a situation where I had no other choice but to beach the ski, and I felt good knowing the best way to do it. Thanks for these tips.

Thanks for talking about this. My wife and I have a pair of FX's. Love the skis, but having to baby the paint is such a drag.

The sand dockers are awesome! They work great even in the red oklahoma mud!

Also when beaching a PWC, if you have a open cooling system, there is the risk of pumping a whole lot of sand and debris into your engine block, cooling system, exhaust, etc.

The only hull repairs I've had to do on my own skis have been to the bottom slightly under the waterline and near the bow where previous owners have obviously beached them.

Kevin random question do you release these as podcast-podcasts on like Apple? I tried googling and couldn’t find anything; wife and I are thinking of buying our first watercraft in a few months and I am trying to be as educated as possible when the time comes so I am trying to be a sponge and absorb as much as I can.
