I am a fairly new archer and I really enjoy your videos. They are very straight forward, informative and easy to follow. I am really looking forward to your bow build videos coming up. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!

Here's a question for ya - What say you regarding breathing during the shot process? Accuracy in long-distance rifle shooting is dependent on proper breath control. Your thoughts?

I also shoot with the Halon X at 29.5 and 55#. I have the 75% mod and the QAD ultrarest. I bought the bow used and it came with the rest. I'm still debating on the Axcel XP sight. I love that bow.

I have a traverse, thinking about buying another one to put scope on. What your thoughts on that, trying to keep from buying one of the tru target bows.

To save you a big headache ditch the blade the rest came with , they bend easy and you will have easier tuning with a best launcher .012 or .010 ! I learned the hard way !

I shoot a 2012 Hoyt element , is it old? I like the new RX5? Please let me know?Jerry, El Paso TX.

Well, its almost 10 years old. Go to your local Hoyt dealer and shoot a new model. Big difference

Would a 50 lb bow be good for 3D shoots outdoors

Do you see 44/45 inch ATA bows making a comeback? Too heavy for most folk, maybe not enough Finger Shooters out there?
@InsideOutPrecision5 жыл бұрын
As much as I hate to say it, I really don't see it happening. I've seen some impressive scores in the Compound Limited class (where 44 ata bows were common) in the past, but that style is hard to come by these days.

Would you be able to use the Hoyt helix for a target and hunting bow?
@InsideOutPrecision4 жыл бұрын
The ultra is a good option for both, but the standard one is a lttle short for target

Got a bit of a grin when you talked about your indoor Arrows. Reason: I just bought 1/2doz and will cut (also 31" on my shop guy's recommendation) & Fletch them this Friday. Question: did you spine-align them first? #teameaston
@InsideOutPrecision5 жыл бұрын
Nah I don't spine align them for those large diameter aluminium shafts. 20 yards just isn't far enough to really benefit from spine aligning them. They shoot great though!

I am looking at buying one bow to hunt with and do some local 3D shooting. Thinking about the Bowtech Reckoning 35". Any thoughts?
@InsideOutPrecision4 жыл бұрын
Its not a bad bow. I'd look at the Halon X, PSE Evo NXT 33 or 35, and the Hoyt axius ultra as well
@joc61174 жыл бұрын
@@InsideOutPrecision the reckoning verses the halon x .What now would you recommend and why.id really aprecgeate your advice
@InsideOutPrecision4 жыл бұрын
@@joc6117 Well, they don't make the Halon X anymore, so youd have to find a used one. I really liked mine though. I haven't put enough arrows through a Reckoning to give it a fair analysis, but the Halon X is quite a bit faster if you're going to run it as a 3D bow.
@joc61174 жыл бұрын
@@InsideOutPrecision how do you feel about the halon x compared to your t r x 36..how do both of those compare in your opinion sice you use those both and have experience with them

@heatherh27845 жыл бұрын
such a long stabilizer. does it need it ? my bow hasn't one.
@InsideOutPrecision5 жыл бұрын
Most people shooting a scope shoot long bars because they help you aim better. The scope magnifies the target, but it also magnifies all your movement. Up to a certain point, the longer the stabilizer, the steadier you will hold.
