Oh fun fact... There was going to be a live action series. The movie was the pilot but it flopped and we ended up with the animated series.

I watch a lot of small VHS channels on KZbin. VHS Mikey producing a tape show with Max Road (Black Bersterd Video) and Douglass Fresh (Marijuana VHS Kid). I doubt whether any of you are aware of each other but, boy, that show would go overground because of how fucking cool it would be

VHS Marijuana Kid is Box Office talent, more entertaining, quirky and charismatic than anybody in the mainstream! He took down so many videos, I'm genuinely pretty upset about it because his madcap livestreams are still my favourite YT content EVER 😔 Anyway, I stumbled across Max's tiny outlier channel and have come to really appreciate the subtle frequency of his VHS vibe. They're uniquely creative and the cosy set-up works, the vids are ASMR for tapeheads 😂 Again, he's cool af and charasmatic with the character he plays. Low-key but really interesting

That's fair enough Mikey, there's a time and a place for lurking, I don't know him at all unfortunately, and he goes AWOL for long periods it seems. But seriously Mikey, some of his removed vids were pure 🔥, some real brilliance, did you see any of his lives from his storage unit ?? One of the biggest raw talents within this underground VHSphere thing, for sure !
