Here's the thing. When an Indian says Indian food is delicious, I'm just like "oh yea? mmmmkay." But when you have David say it's delicious, I understand that it's really delicious. Why? Because as an American, our palates are similar in that it isn't native to the Indian cuisine like the people in India. No bias, no national pride, just pure external reaction and genuine evaluation. David is a true ambassador to world cuisine and Indian is no exception. Actually, I love it when David reviews Indian because I've tried a few dishes for the first time this year and I thought they were so delicious - now I'm getting exposed to more and now I want to try more! His videos in India makes me want to travel to the places where he went and hang out with the locals trying street food just like he did. I'm not surprised that his photographer enjoyed Indian cuisine. I think some foreigners need that bridge ... a little introduction ... at least with someone just as foreign as they are to introduce them to the depths of a cuisine. And David is the guy to do precisely this!
