This man speaks the truth. Let's give him a big round of applause 👏 I had a similar journey to Harnoor. I came to the US for my undergrad in CS too. First I started working in dining hall for $10.40 per hr. I cut down on that job so I could do an unpaid internship as a Junior Dev for a research institute. That helped me get a full time summer internship the next two summers. I wasn't able to do any part time internships. But I feel this gave me a lot of time to work on myself this final year and practice leetcode. I was done w my Bachelors in 3.5 but continued to stay 1 extra sem. Last month I got offered SDE at Amazon! I couldn't have been more happier. All those LC grind sessions finally paid off. I love the way harnoor mentions the 14 leadership principles. I would say I learned all of them and prepared situations as per STAR method. My advice to people in CS rn is take less stress, cut down on the dining job, focus on course related work, start early and finish fast. Thanks harnoor for your wonderful story man. I just felt like sharing mine after hearing yours. I personally love all the great videos you make😍
