I used pokebank to put my team together. I boxed my starter asap and replaced it with a Mudkip and added Sandile and Riolu in there and then captured an Eevee, a Zubat and a Growlithe. My final team was Swampert, Krookodile, Lucario, Espeon, Crobat and Arcanine. It was a fun team to use ^^

I'm currently playing through US. This was the first Pokemon game where I decided on my team before I started the game. I like how it's going tbh. So, I decided to go with: Nemea, an Incineroar (because it's my favoute of the Alolan starters) Coco Jumbo, a Torterra (because I wanted a grass type and recently fell in love with it) Eris, an Alolan-Ninetails (because I'd never used it, and love it) Areop-Enap, an Araquanid (because I love Araquanid and wanted a water type) Abaia, an Eelektross (because I'd never used it and decided it was high time to use it) Durendal, a Duoblade (because why not?) I had played through UM beforehand. It was more natural, encountering a Pokemon and then catching it. My team then was Birbo, a Decidueye (the only Alolan starter I hadn't used before) Hard Boi(yes, I know how that sounds), a Dusk Lycanroc (because free Pokemon, why not?) Zappo, a Vikavolt (the only Pokemon I had used before) Inko, a Malamar (had never used before and found an Inkay early on) Shine Boi, a shiny Magmar (was getting a fire type for the Grass Trial, found a shiny Magby.) Octo Boi, an Octilleryy (struggling with Fire trial, needed water type. Had never used before)

My USUM team was the amazing Decidueye just like in Sun, I used Dusk Lycanroc which was so cool, I used Turtonator again, I used Golisopod instead of Bewear, I had Toucannon again and then a Shiny Vikavolt after catching Shiny Charjabug by the power plant which was an incredible surprise cuz my only other Shiny I’ve ever encountered was Shiny Munna back in PKMN White! It was so cool! This team was so strong and they were great to travel with! Other PKMN I used throughout the playthrough also include my badass Tyranitar which I caught in the beginning of the game as a Larvitar in Diglett Tunnel, Gyarados as always, Bewear, and Flareon.

Kinda bummed about the lack of Alolan Pokémon on ur time. I always think it’s the most fun to use Pokémon native to that region for each play through, and if I’m going to add ones that are from previous gens, I’ll make sure it’s one I’ve either never used before or it’s been a looong time since I have. Of course I guess that’s the good thing about this game is how everyone has different teams with different movesets and stats and all. Just my personal thoughts that I would of loved to see more native Pokémon even if it’s USUM instead of the original two

I did a ‘Catchlocke’ which is pretty simple. Rule 1 : If you catch a Pokemon, it MUST be on your team. Rule 2 : Island Scan is only allowed once, and PokeBank is banned. Rule 3 : No trading is allowed unless it’s for a trade evolution Pokemon, in which is only allowed once. Rule 4 : Pokemon will be released if they faint. Rule 5 : Pokemon Refresh is a top priority, all Pokemon should have max friendship by the Elite 4. My team was this, Kingdra Scrafty Jolteon Palossand Weavile Alolan Raichu

The 4 first are also part of my team (Alolan Vulpix is also planned. Rowlett is actually a fun story. I used Incineroar last time, so the choice was between the other two. I had pre-ordered the game, so I had a free starter figure offered, and it was a Rowlett. So seeing that cute face, I knew I had no other choice. I wanted to have Arcanine for a while and the first I catched had a decent nature, so I just put it on my team. Now, I have no Idea what my final team (or "teams" actually) is gonna be, since, like in Sun/Moon, I want to have 18 Pokémons, with at least one of each type.

Funny story with Rimbombee is back in moon I had a huge problem with Mallows trial via Totem Lurantis and all of my Pokémon kept getting swept so I went to the first island to go for a type advantage yet when it came to cutiefly I wanted to see what it can do and with a quiver dance and I believe silver wind I took down the Lurantis while surviving the solar blade power herb. You couldn’t believe the reaction I had when that had happened. Still my best bug type in game to save my butt

So I did something in Ultra Moon that I wanted to do before but just got the chance this time around. In Regular Moon, I got my hands on a Perfect IV Shiny Ditto with Imposter. I used it to breed specific natured Perfect IV Eevees and I evolved each of them into what I wanted to be at Lv5. (Fun fact: I have a Perfect IV Shiny Sylveon on this team) Then I transferred them into Ultra Moon when I got to a Pokemon Center and ran through the game using only Eeveelutions. I would catch pokemon, of course, but only use my Eeveelutions. I have them all perfectly bred and they are now all above Lv70. My main lineup (seeing as I can use 6 of the 9) is: Jolteon, Espeon, Glacion, Umbreon, Sylveon, and Vaporeon. The other three I utilize more in double battles.

My team for Pokemon Ultra Sun: Decidueye♂ (Dr.Whoot) - My favorite Alola starter is actually Litten(and its evolutions) but I chose him in Pokemon Sun, and in Pokemon Moon(yes, I have both) I chose Popplio, so this time I went with Rowlet. Malamar♀ (Ursula) - I actually didn't even know Inkay was in the game until I ran into a wild one. I never used Malamar before, but I like them, so I caught her. And let me tell you, she's a beast. Noibat♀ (Wave) - Same case as the above. Except she didn't evolve yet, so she's still not a beast. Lycanroc♂ (Choco) - I couldn't resist it. I love Rockeruff and Lycanroc so much. I needed them. Ampharos♀ (Jupiter) - Same case as the above². But I think I love Mareep and its evolutions even more. Alolan Ninetales(not caught yet) - I was so mad at myself when I realized I could have caught an Alolan Vulpix at Tapu Village in Pokemon Sun, but I didn't because I didn't know. THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN.

Fire type for Lurantis ? Meh ... I had a Noibat + Hawlucha ..... easy ^^ Totem Marowak ? Rockruff 2 shotted him, and evolved into Lycanrock-Dusk with it (cool anime-style scenario :D) My team : - Lycanroc-Dusk (that dude is so broken it is hilarious : I one-shot anything that is not resistant to rock. and I still need to level him up to 48 for stone edge ...) - Mimikyu (Totem maybe) - Hawlucha (in game trade), may be replaced first if I need to rework the team. - Decidueye OR Dhelmise (not sure which I like the most) - Volcarona - Naganadel, but it is post-endgame, and an Uber, so not in competitive ..... I need a Special attacker alternative ^^' Noivern maybe ? Alolan Ninetail ?
