I was playing Ultra Moon and wanted a Mr.Mime on my team, so I caught a Mime Jr and trained it. I didn’t know what level it was supposed to evolve at, or how, and I was too lazy to look it up, so I just assumed it’d level up eventually. Well, skip to dragon type trial and I still have this horrible Pokémon on my team. I’m confused, because shouldn’t have Mime Jr evolved by now? It’s at level 52 after all. So I looked it up, and apparently I didn’t make it learn “Mimic”, a move that it has to know to evolve at level 15. Fun.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Cosmog to evolve through friendship rather than levelling? Considering that Lillie never had it battle but developed a friendship with Cosmog throughout the main story. Then in its second evolution, Cosmog could evolve into Lunala/Solgaleo by levelling at the Alter in the day/night.

It evolved into Cosmoem due to stress not a bond with lillie. The flutes being played at the Altar triggered the final stage as the Altar is where Lunala/Solgaleo were summoned but I see your point at least about the Altar The biggest bitch about evolving cosmog? You don't get cosmog itself until you've become champion and at that point you already own Lunala/Solgaleo so there's not point to owning cosmog/Cosmoem except to fill the dex and to trade for the cover legend you don't own once it has reached final stage

I like your videos dude but I must say I feel constantly distracted by all that editing. I think it's a little too much, pretty much every single word you say is shown by pictures, puns and all those kinds of things. I do admire the creativity that's being used but I really think it's too much and would enjoy the video way more it that was toned down. Besides: in between numbers, you use a very relaxing, jazzy piece of music, which doesn't fit the intensity of the chaotic video immediately before and after each one. +Eclipse This is coming from a guy who waited a LONG TIME to get a Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence and Hydreigon(Gawd that was Tedious). Plus I'm a huge fan of Dragon Type Pokemon. Also, Noibat feels like the less-annoying version of Zubat. Since unlike Zubat and Golbat, it doesn't spam Supersonic and/or Confuse Ray when you encounter it. I know Gamefreak fixed that in Gen 5 onward, but still...... Long and short version: I would gladly raise a Noibat all over again, despite what other people say.

Okay, where THE FUCK is Sneasel? The little shit needs an item that you can only get from wild Jagmo-o who have like a 10% encounter rate in the grass of Vast Poni Canyon and only a 5% chance of actually carrying the damn thing. I heard that in USUM you can also get a Razor Claw if you have a certain amount of TMs and talk to a certain NPC, but there’s no indication that this is what you’re gonna get for it and you will most likely end up missing it until you look it up. The only good thing about it is that once you get a Razor Claw, you can evolve as many Sneasel as you want with it and can ask for pretty much anything on the GTS because most people aren’t willing to put up with this shit.

You forgot to mention that Dusk Lycanroc can only come from a Rockruff with its hidden ability which can not be obtained anymore except through trading. Luckily for me, I can breed and trade them since my event Rockruff was a girl and the mothers always pass down their ability. Dusk Lycanroc's for everyone!

Ryan Maxwell I plan to do that with my hidden ability starters from the event, but it's a lot easier to breed the females since you could potentially use any Pokemon from the same egg family. For the father ones you will either need a special item (I think) or a ditto, and if you don't have access to Ditto then you will have to wait a long while since I've seen some pretty ridiculous wanted Pokemon in the global trade. Level 1 Dialga for a level 57 Magnezone or a level 100 Mew for a level 4 Bidoof are examples.

DeepSeaTooh is actually the easiest to get. Basculin have 5% chance to have it on him (20% if you lead with a Pokemon having the CompoundEyes Ability. Namely Butterfree.) Basculin is found relatively early on (Brooklet Hills is the first time you get them.) and is rather easy to find (25% on normal Fishing zone). DeepSea Scale is a little harder to get. The first time you can find them is on Chinchou. Chinchou is find for the first time on Route 8 (so you have to go through Kiawe's Trial with Clamperl), and you only have a decent chance to find them on Special Fishing Zone (35% VS 5% normally). Luckily you can save and reset in front of special zone, but that's still annoying.

Evolving Rockruff with Own Tempo into Lycanroc (Dusk Form) was easily the most painful to do. I have Ultra Moon, so I had to wake up at 5am to evolve it. Sure, evolving Cosmog into Cosmoem took much longer, but at least I could do that anytime, anywhere. Second place was a tie between Cosmog, Zweilous, and Sliggoo. Cosmog is self-explanatory. Zweilous needs to reach level 64 to evolve, the highest level for any evolution, and Sliggoo must be level 50 or higher in the rain to evolve. Considering that the highest level Pokémon you can encounter in rainy weather are in the 40s, this is a very long road indeed. I also find held-item trade evolutions to be a huge pain for people who don’t have either a friend with the game or both two 3DS/2DSs and two gen VII games for trading. It’s seriously annoying. It doesn’t help that I’m a bit of an item hoarder, so I like to keep at least one of every item in my bag at all times, which means 2 each of Reaper Cloth, Electerizer, Magmarizer, Dragon Scale, Upgrade, Dubious Disk, Prism Scale, and Protector; three each of Deep Sea Tooth, Deep Sea Scale, Razor Claw, and Razor Fang (1 for evolution, 1 for use in battle, and 1 for the bag); and 4 each of Metal Coat and King’s Rock (2 for evolution, 1 for use in battle, and 1 for the bag).
