0:33 hahaha I have been there. I lost my Pelipper to Tate and Liza, had a Swellow in the day care and the only other Flying type was Zubat. Could not believe it when I saw that it can't learn Fly. So I had to surf and bike all accross the map to get my Swellow out of the day care and teach it Fly.

It's interesting to say you side with Team Magma. The story in Emerald is based on a real debate that happened in Japan where the Japanese government wanted to expand into the ocean to make way for more residential areas, but there was a ton of pushback about it. Tamashii Hiroki (their name may have changed at this point) did a great review of the game that talks about this and I highly recommed it. :)

About that teaching fly to a Pokemon thing in my Platinum playthrough I was lacking a flying Pokemon and I already have used Staraptor like so many times so I wanted to use Gliscor and it can't learn fly like what the hell a freakin Starly can carry me on it's back and fly high in the sky but not a Bat/Gorgoyle like creature 😑😂

So, when I first saw this series I said: “She looks like a beginner, she would barely get to the 3rd Gym and probably fail at the 4th” specially with the overleveling Rule After you Beat the 5th Gym I was astonished, Most people Get a Game Over Because of Altaria, But you manage to create a Great strategy that worked and gave you the victory, With a Castform... a Goddamn Castform and now that you beat Kingdra (Also a Common game over) with an “Unintended-Stall-Strategy” I have to say, if you play your cards right, you definitely have what it takes to beat the Elite 4 and Wallace (Although You have made some miss plays, but that’s understandable considering this is your first Nuzlocke)
