My Policeman REACTION; it hurts so good.

This may be a new favorite film of mine- the way I was crying like a little baby was out of control. it was so good, everyone needs to watch this. the story hit me right in the gut because you could feel the love between the characters and empathize with their feelings and understand their actions, even if you don't always agree. 10/10, what a wonderful film! 🩶

The real tragedy is that 3 lives were so badly damaged just because two people who loved one another weren't "allowed" to. Patrick's life would have been left in tatters after prison, almost impossible to find work, the love of his life gone, ghosting him. Tom trying desperately to repress his true self, terrified of being alone, unable to love according to his nature, and Marion trapped by her own guilt in a marriage of fondness but no passion, no lust, no children, knowing all along who & what her husband truly was & felt. Marion's last act is to set all three of them free to be 100% themselves & hopefully happy for whatever time they have left.

You have responded in exactly the same way I did. Although, I began crying when Patrick first came into ‘the prison’ of Tom and Marion’s home. I found it as beautiful as you have but, I have watched it 3 times since and cried even harder. There is so much more to find ♥️
