Came here to say this. Like, she’s sick. Like I wouldn’t just show up to my kids pediatrician without calling first. It might be a walk in, but like the mom found out it doesn’t mean right away. All the doctors we go to have same days you can call and see if they have something soon, or if we can lay in bed and wait. And if my kid is / we think she is sick , I’m not taking her out to lunch to spread it. It’s true she might of had a mask but that just slows the spread.

I had strep when I came home from traveling to my Dad’s for spring break, I had never had it for the whole 14 years of my life, I thankfully went to the doctor and they got me on antibiotics. They helped a lot, my pain only lasted for 2 days. If you can get antibiotics, I seriously recommend them. It helped a ton.

I would be absolutely disgusted if my mother recorded me while I was sick. Even though I'm older I would still feel uneasy. Recording your child at all in the modern day and age is something you shouldn't do regardless of health. As a sub, and teachers kid, THANK YOU for keeping her home when she said she wasn’t feeling well with a spesific symptom! So many parents just hand their kid a cough drop and push them out the door so they can infect the whole school! This literally just happened at my mother’s school right before thanksgiving, a 2nd grader came to school with what turned out the be the stomach flu, by the end of the week attendance was down by 30% because so many kids were sick despite regular deep sanitizing!

Keep that in mind this summer when your child might go more places with large groups of people. ❤ I was on antibiotics for the first 6 years of my life and at least once a year after that until my mid 20s. I was CONSTANTLY getting sick in between ear/sinus/lung infections and it wasn't a fun way to live.

Unfortunetly vitamin C doesnt do much for the immune system (and even if it did, fresh citric fruit juice would do the work). Eat balanced food and sleep as well as the situation allows you. That is the way. You are doing a great job mama!❤
