I use Figma for all my border posts and it basically acts as my online gallery

That got pretty complex for me in the video portion. Haha. Great work creating a download option for people!

With regards to Instagram workflow and in particular image size in pixels. Although most on line information states 1080px by 1350px for 4x5 portrait images, I have found that in Chrome browser if you right click on an image in the full size view and save as to the desktop. You will get a folder containing some of the accounts images. Looking with file explorer you will see these images can be 1440px x 1800px. Anybody else find 1440px width works?

As a longtime photographer I've realized socialmedia has destroyed alot of photography. People are sitting more infront of the computer scrolling than actually out there taking images. Alot of youtubers telling you what gear to buy even though they never made a print in their life. Using 5000usd gear to post cropped resized to 1mp images on instagram only to be view on a phone for about 1 second. Go to exhibitions, buy photography books and print more. Less screentime = more images.

I earlier this week visited a print shop as I do plan to one day sell some of my work as prints. Agree with what you say though, KZbinrs discussing aps-c vs fullframe or many other equally pointless topics. Try not to concern yourself with what other people are doing though and go out with your camera as much as you can. Btw, I only post to Instagram just to have somewhere to direct people to my photo work whilst making prints and photobooks is my main goal.

@@creative_cozmic I used to have instagram, never sold a print. Now I have a webpage and no instagram and I sell for thousands. No one who ever bought a print asked if I had instagram or followers. People who buy fine art mostly buy it because they like the image. The best thing is to print and have exhibitions. Also the photographs that sell the best are always the ones from the area close to where you have the exibition

Very interesting to see how you process, thank you Faizal. I was wondering what film simulation do you use most of the time ?
@mirjanagecin715 Жыл бұрын
I don't think he uses film simulation, I'm mean he said it in the video that he edits all of his pictures.
@tyry1425 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think he uses his presets which can be found on his website.

I see that you use a document size of 2160 x 2700 but I always understood that IG would only suppprt a maximum size of 1080 x 1300, and that otherwise IG would downsize the photo, deteriorating the image quality. Is this no longer true?

You can speed up your Publisher workflow by using several Master Pages with the different crops and ratios. Just ensure the Masters frame is named identically, then you can drag and drop masters to experiment with crops.
