A mnemonic for conifers: F is for Fir which is flat and friendly (needles are flat, and not painfully pointy) P is for Pine which comes in packets (usually 2, 3, or 5 needles together in a group) S is for Spruce which is sharp and square (needles feel square if you roll them in your fingers and are sharp to the touch) The seasonal attunement is lovely; and I totally hear the call to un-earth in the spring 💚

Great video, winter magic is so underrated! Also you can tell if the tree is pine if the needles come off the branches in packets of 2 or more, if the needles attach to the branch individually it's more likely spruce or fir

What do you do with ur simmer pot when you're done with it, I have a oak tree I work with and sum times I will give it to the tree, or under my porch, or keep it for a spray😊
