I also grew up on a small farm in the country and when I first learned about the wheel of the year, it was a huge ah ha moment! It made so much sense, as I grew up with plants and animals, watching and living by the weather and the seasons- things that small farms do anyhow to survive. It definitely led me to my path as well. I don't practice but I have enjoyed the vibe. I grew up in the country too and can truly feel this. I'm on a spiritualist journey just connecting with grounding myself. This brings me back to a time where I picked wild flowers as a child and made flower arrangements not realizing that this to was a ritual with nature. My grandmother lived in the middle of the woods and it was far away from the world in a moment with sasafras tea and a front porch with the spirits of nature all around. There is magic everywhere all around I never noticed before.

I love that they mentioned elderberry syrup I make something similar for colds and immune boosting we’re I take elderberry syrup and rose hip syrup then I boil brandy with ginger and cinnamon combine it all ‘chefs kiss’ it is so tasty and amazing especially when you have young children who bring colds home ALL the time.

Yes to edible landscaping.....I have been talking about and practicing this very thing. When you pull up in front of my home you are greeted with a bed of boxwoods, jalapenos, potatoes and hostas! Beautiful and delicious!! Annie is my first experience with a witch on the internet as I am just finding my way here. She is kind and calming and her content draws me back to her. That's so weird I just discovered her channel like last month haha ! She introduced me to green witchcraft and I knew immediately this was the right path for me (I was already interested in witchcraft a long time ago but didn't really know about the different types and I just didn't pursue it). I'm obsessed with her videos, she's living my dream life. I'm 26, I live in a great apartment in the city and all I want to do is to move to the countryside, live in a cute cottage and grow my own food lol (probably won't happen for like 5 years or more but I'm still using this isolation time to start learning about permaculture and plants etc ^^)

I feel like this video is perfect for me currently. I have just started watching both you and The Green Witch on youtube. I am new to understanding what a witch is and the different types there are in the world. I have found so many connections to what I loved and enjoyed as a kid (11-21) that connect with witchcraft.
