Pay attention when he messes up. He's finding the finger transitions that are difficult or gave him trouble and redoing them in the moment until he smooths it out before he continues. It's important to practice CORRECTLY, there's no point in playing the easy parts over and over again at speed if those aren't the parts that are giving you trouble.

Wow he plays so smoothly yet he is tapping those strings really hard! Also it looks like a secret to such accurate playing is to practice without amp. That is biggest lesson I've got today.
@yobrethren
@yobrethren 2 жыл бұрын
I watched a little while that there's basically 3 ways to train songs and playing with amp, it's clean, barely driven, and audibly distorted and overdriven to the point where you have to actively shut the eff down your guitar (strings, bg noise and others) so it doesn't sound as bad as it could. It practises your speed, accuracy and on-the-scene playing skills respectively so you train a lot more than just strumming/tapping/picking in quieteness. It's all personal preference though, and i also think that Ichika's unplugged training here has a place, it helps you sound better without any special effects, and trains your ears a little more i think

I lowkey feel like he is doing this not only to show his subs how he practices but also so it can serve as proof he is not a fake guitarist like everyone is claiming he is.

@@FabulousKilljoy Yeah guitarists in the youtube community are claiming he is speeding his videos up and that he is a fake. Although, not all guitarists are saying this but I saw the video where Doyvdas claims ichika is a fake.

That’s exactly what it is. He’s doing everything acoustically with no DAW and showing us very raw footage. I’ve seen videos accusing him of faking his skills and he’s doing this videos shortly after this to combat those accusations without making some videos directly pointing out the videos to start drama. He’s showing us that he is exactly what he portrays himself as and I respect him so much for it

@TheDiamondBladeHD
@TheDiamondBladeHD Жыл бұрын
Not that hard actually, try playing arpeggios with your right hand while muting the strings. At first your fingers may not know where to go, but try that for like an hour a day for a week or two. And be strict with yourself to actually do that for an hour. You'll find yourself being able to do that quite quickly

@@TheDiamondBladeHD yes, im a super noob at guitar but i find that the times i got addicted to practicing consistently everyday, and always having my guitar or the acoustic around me when im home instead of in their case, i had no choice but improve even if im so slow learner, just by pure act of practicing a specific thing all the time. gotta start doing that again, i hope someday i will be able to play to a level ill be proud of.
