hey Chen, since you're a classical musician i recommend checking ichika's first 2 EPs specially the songs illusory sense and a bell is not a bell, he had great classical influence at that time because of his piano background so hopefully you look into it

As a guitarist I love your interpretation of the song, and I appreciate how faithful you always are to the original. Plus seeing a world class soloist enjoy Ichika Nito makes me feel very validated for choosing the instrument I did. It's nice to have the respect of other musicians.

That was so fun. I would say. It went from “I miss You” (being openly vulnerable) to “I miss You” (and I can explore this feeling, be okay, and even celebrate it - but I still miss you).

Ichika's older stuff is much more suited for a classical instrument like the violin. It was less flashy flash like now and more beautifully composed ethereal solo guitar pieces, take "illusory sense" for example

You should have a look at Tenebre Rosso Sangue especially the main theme at 1:31 onwards. Very Bach like and very fast and powerful. Also just a great theme that sounds great on the organ/electric guitar. Could be fun adapted as a violin piece.

This sounds AMAZING 🤩 I hope you also take this time to learn chop techniques with this too :) to get those guitar pops too. I believe you’d be perfect to learn chop techniques, and would help even more with jamming and feeling the groove in a EPIC way. (Casey Driessens chop notation glossary is a PERFECT source for this, on KZbin) :) I love the fact that you attempt non classical styles and improvise as well 👍🏾 it keeps me coming back to your videos.

Really, really good. The challenge when starting from a classical training is always finding away of not making non-classical tunes sound stllted. It's something to do with barlines and the intensity required to project all the colours. Never mind making a transcription sound effective on a different instrument. Oh, and how about making the video of pulling it all together enjoyable to watch. Kudos to you, Ray.

Sharps are sharper than flats only with just intonation. There is no difference between A# and Bb with equal temperament. The equal temperament divides the octave in 12 identical notes with a ratio of the 12th root of 2.
