I like some choice, especially the banned cards, instead i don’t think that they are gonna limit bystials and Fenrir because of the upcoming 2023 tins release (usually they don’t touch cards inside them)

Starter to 1 when the Runick Spright variants (live twin and fur hire) only run 1 anyway? Same with Sprind, that card isn't that strong in Fur Hire/Live Twin Spright. No point of hitting pure Spright this hard, especially since Spright decks in general haven't been doing as much lately.

Yeah I thought about banning Hugin instead and putting fountain to three, to separate spright and runick. That is an option but hugin reprint would be valued by konami more than hitting it.

I would have to disagree with you on a couple cards being Cooclock and Engage. Cooclock is the purpose to be able to make the Furniture build playable, if you rid that then it's not something they have meaning to play. Now as a Lab player if you do aim for something aside from EEV there's Big Welcome to not make the grind game for them to become too strong. In that case, put that to 2 where that could also hit the heavy trap version. Plus they're still promoting more Lab cards, so I think if anything it'll be a slap on the wrist. For Engage, I would believe it to go to 3, *IF* Hornet Drones go. Part of the reason for Engage was because it was being used as an engine, too.

If the name of the game is hitting Labrynth while still keeping it around just ban Eradicator, this thing should not be in the game period. For a second hit semi limit Big Welcome or limit Lady (lady as in the 3k one not the one with the dress). If you have to ban a monster hit Stovie given that both it and Chandelier have the same effect to set from deck to field, but Stovie has a self revive while Chandelier has a bounce to hand.

In my opinion,they need to hit the Kashtiras and Handtraps. Like,limiting all handtraps to 1 and straight up banning Kashtiras (Like Kashtira Birth) and especially the Level 7 XYZ Shangri-Ira.

I dont think Branded Fusion needs to be hit, the deck is hardly seeing any tops at the moment and every pro player (and most youtubers) talk about how the deck is garbage. While I wouldnt go so far as to say the deck is garbage, it honestly isnt a top level deck at the moment. I could see them hitting Fusion if they kill off the current top decks as a pre-emptive hit, though I would still disagree with it.

Shifter is the main bad call here. Might as well read: "If this card is in your opening hand (quick effect): you can reveal this card; you win the Duel". It's such an unhealthy card that decides games before the first main phase

Eradicator is a problem outside of Lab as well. Bastically any deck that craps out a big dark monster has been toying with it for a couple months now. Also Branded is dreadful atm so, yes, Fusion to one would kill the deck. Mannadium, VS, and Unchained are all doing better than Branded.

Complete nonsense to ban Striker Dragon and Limit Branded Fusion. What happened at worlds is irrelevant as it had a custom banlist, thats the only reason why D-Link could win. In the TCG, D-Link hardly does anything. And same goes for Branded, its very popular but hardly tops and doesnt win any events. A simple Ash is nearly a Turn Skip for that deck. Nothing is gonna happen there

Oh, I wouldn't say nothing; D-Link seems to be roughly the 7th best deck as far as regional tops go. Must mean we need to kill it with fire. Same energy that lead people to unironically want Melody of Awakening Dragon banned after BEWD won worlds.

Engage and Sprind are the only truly bad calls here, and Branded Fusion (but thats purely cause its one of my favorite decks), I'd say limit Sleepy Memory, ban Eradicator because Labrynth isn't the only abuser, Sprind is hard to truly justify, and Engage is just Pot of Greed that can search that's also not Once Per Turn, the fact its at 2 is a crime. They might ban King Calamity.

Pretty interesting takes, what with accounting for Konami being a business as well as the actual balance/health of the game. I'd like to see Harp Horror come back because he's been on there far too long, hopefully along with some new Orcust/World Legacy support. (Slight coping here) Given how poorly Denglong has been performing, being 3 bricks for 2 omni-negates, I also think it couldn't hurt for Justiciar Ib to come back, given that she's 2 semi-bricks for some pretty good extension, but alas that's also something that should be left for more World Chalice/Legacy support in a similar vain to Harp Horror. I also disagree on the take of banning Striker Dragon, mainly because the current state of Dragon Link has it relying on Borrelend a lot of the time, and getting rid of Striker Dragon *really* hurts that. Given, there's a lot of tools that Dragon Link has at its disposal, but it's still going to screw them over a lot.

Well unlimiting harp would be cool. But what is unlimiting harp selling? Is there new orcust carfw coming out? Seems logical for konami to keep harp banned until future world legacy/orcust cards so they can hype a new set.

@@Miyaoko_ with the lore being over I doubt they will be making more orcust cards, since that's what they generally do when a lore is over. For both of these cards there is no need for them to remain on the list. They are past their prime.

But keeping them there and using their release as a weapon to hype sets and maximise profits is in konami’s best interests. And they’ll really only do it if the cards perform well in OCG. Im sorry to say it but, it’ll be a very long time before harp comes back.

Nah,lab isnt the only deck that can use erad, the only other "trap" decks that exist rn are altergiest and traptrix,both of which dont use eev(idk if alter can summon a target for it)
