My Proaim Jib is Falling Apart - How We Fixed It! The 17' Proaim Powermatic Scissor Jib Review

Usually we are very happy with Proaim products, but this was not one of those times. With $7000 invested in our first jib, it instantly started falling apart.
Some brainiac engineer put it together with aluminum bolts. HUH?
Yeah, you heard it right, aluminum bolts breaking left and right while it just sat in a corner. Each day we would go back and see another bolt that just broke and fell on the floor.
OMG, can you imagine taking this on a job and having it falling apart as you use it?
Sorry Proaim, this one was a miss. We cannot recommend this to anyone. But if you do have one of these 17 foot scissor jibs, we can tell you how to fix it with the proper bolts.
