I started listening to Krit recently and I feel the same way about the Krit/Cole comparison to how you feel about Cole and Wale. Once you get deeper into that southern rabbit hole you see how Cole can be a bit processed in comparison sometimes. I listened to 4ever is a mighty long time and the whole listen I could hear that Krit had all the same inspirations as Cole but just used them better, I hope the Fall Off is more ambitious. Cole just focuses a bit too much on having dope bars rather than musicality. With Cordae, any criticism of Cole applies to him but significantly more.

I have never been a J.Cole fan, but clicked with Cordae when he was still a part of the YBN collective. Listening to him compared to the other two, he sounded like a breath of fresh air. I hear some of his singles, and I liked Kung Fu quite a bit. Then he dropped The Lost Boy and I liked it, although the J.Cole influence for the first time hit me like a ton of bricks. I mean dog, the production sounded like some early Cole, his cadence and his flow was Cole's, the only thing that made him unique was his tongue thrust that let me get past it (since I find J.Cole's voice boring). I think he also raps like he's an elder statesman in the fame, when he's wet-behind-the-ears and wears his influences on his sleeve. I WANT to like this nigga, he seems like he has a decent head on his shoulders, especially at his age, but he hasn't branched out and it irritates me heavy cuz dude's got potential. Going by this guys logic, every single rapper to ever exist outside of the beginning of rap is a diet somebody. Flows get recycled, even by your favorites, and categorizing cordae because he has better lyricism than the rest of his class is just hypocritical period. If he's not for you thats cool but to disrespect dudes talent and classify him as a diet anyone is just dumb. Your favorite rapper is a diet someone, and so is that someone and so on and so forth. Every rapper has taken a thing or 2 from someone they've idolized that came before them. Doesnt make them a wannabe. Again by your own logic you could be a diet fantano. There's nothing that sticks out as original here. Clearly you were inspired by someone to make your content and share your bias opinions. But you're you correct? You may have drawn inspiration but you're in your own lane right? Let the dude carry the torch for the next generation that may want to listen to someone in their age group but may not be familiar with the past greats of that style of music. The negativity is unnecessary and bad content fr fr.

New sub here, but man please, don’t splice in Fantano when you’re giving your own critiques, stay far far away from that man, you seem to have your heart and mind in the right place and do not need him to echo your statements to make a point. Keep it up though! PS: in no world is Wale better than J. Cole lol but imma let you cook!

FYI the two anderson paak songs were produced by J cole lol. Other then that I don't hear the J cole comparison, sounds more like hes trying to sounds like Kanye which is cool with me.

Wale def better than Cole. I love that someone has said it ❤

This take is so shocking to me, but I guess it shows how subjective music is
@jesserabb269820 сағат бұрын
@Duge6124 I totally get that. For me it’s about style over substance. I think coal is a lyricist as Wale is but Wale always strikes me as someone who has more to say beyond the thought put into the pen work. Plus Wale stays with that unappreciated chip on his shoulder while Cole always gets his flowers. I think it shines through differently in their projects. I’d say Pusha-T is somewhere in that Wale space as well with that under appreciate air that translates into solid projects.

It makes sense why you don't like Cole, your favorite artist is Ye and constantly shouting out Fantano, lol. Your opinions are copy and paste. You talk about not being too negative, but most of your videos are negative.
