My PSP UMD Movie Collection

This is my PSP UMD movie collection. PSP UMD movies are a very niche form of media, but such an interesting part of the past before smartphones really took over. The PSP was way ahead of its time with having these movies on the go, being able to download demos, play online, and listen to music via internet radio. PSP UMD videos / movies can typically be found for pretty cheap as I don't think many people collect for this format.

Awesome video man. There are not enough UMD movie related videos on KZbin. I didn’t know Nature born killers was on UMD! The last ten movies I’ve picked up are: Ace Ventura, 007 quantum of solace, The dark knight, Gran torino, Seven, Donnie brasco, The silence of the lambs, Wanted, Batman & robin, and The exorcist (og). I almost won FaceOff on ebay…..lost the bid by 50 cents. Oh and Daft punk interstella 5555 is pretty rare (in the states at least).

I was surprised at the lack of UMD Movie content on KZbin when I’ve looked it up in the past, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of big time collectors out there. Those are some solid pickups dude, how many do you have in your collection?

I’ll have to check his channel out. You have quite a bit, that’s a solid collection. I’m somewhere in the 80s right now, I had way more when I was a kid but no idea what happened to them. I definitely want to pick some more up they are just really cool to have. UMD movies are great it was that last stretch before streaming and smartphones completely took over

The UK and Japan has a bunch of releases that the US never received. You should ask your parents where the rest of the collection is. Nice man, you’ve got a bunch. It’s definitely fun collecting and watching them. I know for a fact we’ll never get anything like umd movies ever again since most people don’t care about physical media anymore!

17:02 If you’ve never seen the original Mad Max, you should definitely check it out. It’s amazing what they were able to do on such a low budget. You’ll notice that there are no extras in the town scenes, as there just wasn’t the budget. And only Mel’s jacket was real leather.

Finally a new video on umd movies. So little content is ever put up. Welcome to collecting these. Also natural born killers was never released. Kill bill 2 is on umd And keep up the collection. The last count my buddies and I got on a list including all Japanese anime and porn released was closer to 2000 different titles released world wide.

Idk if there’s any record stores or vintage spots near you but I occasionally find UMDs at places like that. Definitely interested bro, there isn’t many UMD collectors out there

Psp. For me its The greatest handheld of all time. My collection is 802 umds and 609 games. Been Collecting for it from day one. Some umd collectors have umds in the 1500 2000 range but thats die hard Collecting. For me I exclude any movie that doesn't have an English option. I won't collect just to collect. And No porn. What's the point of having teen wolf on umd if you can't understand what they are saying.? Some really good american movies were released in other country's so look everywhere! And just some advice ad the Japanese collection at your own risk. They released EVERTHING on the psp. You'll go bankrupt just trying to collect it all. Happy hunting
