I say keep the OEM seats in the 33. The series 3 red interior looks too good IMO to break it up. 400R seats are hella baller, but I feel like aesthetically they resemble 32 seats and will give a great OEM+ look to the 32. Also, I think you should swap a 34 gtr steering wheel into the 33. Probably already know this, but series 3 33s can run a 34 wheel and retain airbag functionality (not that anyone plans on crashing).

Glad you posted this. Am two years into my R33 GTR build and am even more stoked to finally drive it (am building out of Hawaii so it has taken a lot longer to get quality parts/work done here). Imo the nismo seats would look great in the 33 and match with the LMs. My other thought to consider would be putting on the nismo seat covers to help keep the longevity of the Series 3 seats. It’s really easy to go on and off. Anyways cheers and thanks as always for the great content.

The R33 has always been my favorite GTR. Unfortunately, I've never seen someone share the same opinion. Until now. It performs better on track than every GTR other than the R35, and if you like the 90's bulbous look, this car is a treasure trove.

@duanebailey6253 It's still within the margin of error compared to the 32 and 34 in Nurburgring lap times. It also costs ~3-4x less in private sales due to its less crowded reputation. I'd say that's impressive. For much less, you can get the same or much better with minor changes. You don't even need to spend money. Just take out the passenger seats, spare, A/C, and sound system. Boom, bona fide track car. It's still slower than a Chevy Cobalt SS, though. I never said GTR's were the best cars. Only in comparison to their siblings 😂😂

With the same Nissan test driver/ vehicle delveloper in all 3 cars Dirk Schoysman behind the wheel the BCNR33 was the first production car under 8min around the Nurburgring Nordschleife and a full 21 sec quicker than the BNR32. The BNR34 was 7 seconds faster than the BCNR33. Personally having owned all three the 34 is faster than the 33 but not by much at all. The 34 a blend of both 33 and 32. The R32 is well the slowest and the Attesa system reactions is quite noticably slower if you are used to driving all three.

R33 looks good on the LM's, it does look a little flashy with the chrome lips but not off putting. Its clean, tidy and works together with all the mods. Swapping the seats into the R33 doesn't really seem the go, it currently already has a special interior that's complete. Yeah, it would look good with the 400R seats but keeping it all the same would again, make it a bit more special. Putting the 400R seats into the R32 makes a bit more sense, its old logo stuff, rare, special and would add quite nicely to the array of older, rare, special parts that are already installed. It also seems like your getting a bit more seat time in the R32, so makes sense.

I reckon put the Nismo 400 r seats in the R32 and keep the series 3 red stitch in the 33 gtr if you don't like the chrome boy lips why not try them with white lips on white faces. I run a R32 GTR 4.11 with 6x1 axles in my gtst you will need GTR rear hubs to make it fit... wanting to know if you run a solid tailshaft or not I run a stock gtst one with new tailshaft bearing.I also had to change the flange on the front of the diff pinion so it would meet up with the gtst tailshaft

Man R33's are coming back strong now! There's always been something about them that I just couldn't quite put my finger on, like it's not my favourite or the coolest car but somehow it's just... It's just right. It's understated but in a good way. It's a really cool car. 400R seats and white LMGT1s on a 33 is just perfection dude. They just belong on there, it's the top dawg of all top dawgs, the top dawg to rule all top dawg specs.

Little tip when spraying plastics with spray shine, let it sit for a few seconds and then wipe with a microfiber. Plastics will look brand new. Not wet

When you spray that stuff on your plastic like 303 protectant and stuff like that you have to let it sit for a couple minutes and then wipe it back off. You don't want to leave it actually wet.

I butchured my shifts too in my 34r, i drove my friends 34r and his is super easy to shift, both same power levels. I reckon half these Getrags needs a refresh tbh. I think he has the nismo slave cylinder, im running standard, both nismo twin plate coppermix. Might experiement and see if i still get lockouts with a better slave..

@@AdamLZ Yea that’s fair dude, first try adjusting the pedal travel to be taller (the one that pushes against the master cylinder against the firewall, not the preload on top of the pedal). That made my shifts a lot more smoother (still isn’t as good as my mates one though). Eliminated clutch drag. If that doesn’t work then yea the box needs a overhaul/replacement. if you’re going to change the box then change the whole thing. Clutch master, slave, Clutch.. etc.
