I know people used to say that they had to always turn the volume up for the voice overs and down when the music was playing (I think I've balanced it out?).. Even if Bayside Blue is overused it's still the best option.It's the color Nissan Skyline R34 is known for and it's easy to maintain clean.I would also go with a Red beacause it would be something different.(Not many Skylines are Red and it stands up). Hope you're going to make a good decision:D

Your production quality is awesome man. You're attention to detail and patience with these builds is crazy. I wish I had the ability and patience to tear my car down like this and go through it. Keep it up man. Videos are great. As far as content goes, this is perfect. Maybe have a seperate set of short few minute videos going over the steps you take in doing these things like, "this is the product I used and the tools and materials I used and this is how I did this" and show a quick tutorial on how you do it personally. That might be very helpful for DIYers. That way you have the best of both worlds.

Downside to red ... the colour red fades the swiftest; it’s a science thing.

All has to do with the light wave lengths. A blue is a shorter wave length, red is a long wave length. Now, the reason I'm going into detail here is I did a speech on colour once and the people who came up to me afterwards and said they had no idea this could be so in depth. All the colours you see have one thing in common, the colour given off something means that it absorbed all the other colours and that one particular colour is reflected off. Hence a green leaf shows green is because it has absorbed all the other colours. The time light is spent on an item, car, plane, leaf, tree depends on the colour reflected. A blue colour reflects that colour quicker because the light length is short, however, when we come to reds and derivatives of red, the light stays longer on that colour and has more time to degrade. Hence you see red cars with colours that have been bleached out. A reason why red fades quicker. Hope you didn't get bored reading this. Your car is going to be amazing.

Hey bro, as always great vid! As for the color I said before that a red color would be great, it would separate you from the crowd, and I am glad you are thinking of choosing it! Maybe a darker red like Brandy-wine, burnt cherry red, or a mid-dark red variant. If you don’t have girl in your life you probably will soon once they see your gtr! I had a 2000 Camaro SS that was black and was a pain to keep clean, always picking up dust and dirt immediately after detailing so I agree with you about not choosing black! Broken Silvia Yeah if you were to make this car a weekend show car and keep it garaged then black would have been ok, but since you said you were going to drive the hell out of it I said, “Don’t choose black!” You would be wasting time and money on keeping it clean. As for people wanting a ride, I completely understand! My friend has a gtr R32 and when the weekend comes he takes his car to the local car meets and gets asked everytime if they can rev his car or get a ride.

I always enjoy these types of builds and your attention to detail just blows me away. So I'm wondering why when you removed all the seam sealer from the engine bay, why you didn't stitch weld the seams. As I've said, I enjoy these types of builds and in most, when the level of detail you've already done on this build, most would do the step of stitch welding all the seams to add extra structural strength. I know this affects how a car will perform in a collision, but the extra stiffness and rigidity for this type of car, given how you intend to drive this car when finished would be a good thing. I know it's your ride and it's totally up to you. I was just wondering. Excellent build! I'll keep watching and thumbs up!

I think if this car is going to be a long term build KZbin project I would go with a highly metallic Bayside blue (It doesn't sound like your going for a original GTR build so take some liberties)... Like you that is the only colour I have lusted for and there is a reason that everyone wants them, they look sooo good. Cant wait to see what chrome bits you put in those hole.

Red is a really good option! I personally like the "true blood red" but it may be difficult to paint it. May be painting the car in black and wrapping it in "true blood red" and also helps to avoid scratches

Also is it a good idea just to use a heat resistant spray paint for the suspension mods that i want to re-use but restore?
