To me it read like Scara is just incapable of saying anything but negative things about anyone. And with Capitano he's basically like "I can't think of anything actually bad to say about him, but... fuck that asshole."

But something that really bothers me is the fact that all he gets is praise, the ability to command such praise is a scary power and can easily be used to mask his less desirable traits." Its like how some people will get praise no matter what they do and have their negative actions un-demonized because of who they are as a character (or how they're perceived) rather than the truth of the person. Its a basis of values called "Virtue" rather than something like "Utilitarianism", in summary good actions are actions done by good/popular folk rather than the action itself being a good action. In other words Cappitano could have that level of support from both enemies and allies making him akin to a cult leader in terms of how impossible it is to talk negatively about him.

4:21 From what i can tell from what's been shown, Arlecchino is about in her 20s or 30s. She can't be over 500 yrs old since she was shown as a child in the house of the hearth under the old Knave which freminet knows of so it isn't possible for those event to have been decades in the past, maybe within 10 yrs. Peruere was 6 when she met Clervie, 16 when she killed her, 17 when she killed Crucabena and after that assumed position of the Knave. Also she said herself that she was the same age as Clervie so she must be a descendent rather than an ancient crimson moon dynasty survivor

I initially thought that as a child her age could've been put into stasis, if, for example, she was hilichurlified as a child 500 years ago and only within the 10-20 years or so had that process reversed, which would allow her to start aging again (as we know, Caribert was centuries old but still was a kid). That said, now that all the full voice lines are out it does seem more likely to me that she is somehow a descendant.

31:15 lets be honest, an intelligence group like HoH wont survive under the rule of Ninguang. Ninguang quite literally has recruits everywhere, including little children from around liyue harbor. She has her own version of HoH at Wangshu Inn and other establishments, not to mention Yelan and the Tianshu also keep an eye for something suspicious. If HoH had their base there, they would instead be under Ninguang's scrutiny. To make matters worse, Zhongli himself is roaming the streets of Liyue now, and while he wont involve himself in the spy and counter spy group, Fatui cant really plan something catastrophic with Morax quite literally being in Liyue.

As a boss, i wanted him to to be the hardest one to beat, not tanky or one shot mechanics please but 3 phases with some creative mechanics would be appreciated. To be honest, Arlecchino demolished the 4th harbinger when she was a teen so she is just way more powerful to be 4th, and other than that higher ranks had already been taken when she became a harbinger. since we don't know her power lvl in comparison to higher ranks so nobody knows what she is really capable of.

I'm really stuck on one thought, she always mentions "I always like it when people have misconceptions about me", is she stronger than her rank? look at the many parallels between Furina and Arlecchino, starting from the acting concept which is identical to both of their characters, in the trailer for both there is a scene of burning paper, sitting on a throne, and they both have done the same thing. pose closing one eye, as we know Furina pretends to be strong as an archon and then she is revealed to be only human. is it possible that Arlecchino has a potential that has actually never been shown which can be concluded that she is stronger than we know or other harbringer knows, because in the overture trailer, when she is on stage, she is like "putting on a show" surrounded by all the harbringers as spectators

I find it very funny that Arlecchino uses such essential and fancy words in most of her voicelines or whenever she talks in general. I think she is pretty mature, her not wanting to burden nor tell anybody much of what she had gone through, I doubt she wants people the comfort her. Her design as well is just so beautiful and awesome, I don't ever think I could ever surpass such designs like Arlecchino's. edit: ALSO I had heard that in the winter night's lazzo where it shows Dottore near the end of him burning Irminsul, the writer of genshin i think had said that it's for FUTURE UPDATES. Not only that but in that scene it didn't really look like the usual location of where the irminsul would be, I could only think that the next region the Pyro region would have Columbina, Dottore and the Captain or maybe Dottore and the Captain.

Hi Arnold, we do have a time line hint. The crimson moon set and black sun rose up during the events between Perinheri 1 and 2. And Angelica says that she has come to khaenriah because Deus Auri has defeated the god that she follows. Unless khaenriahns were living under the rock and had no updates on Archon war(they did live under rocks but i doubt their intelligence system wont pick up on the massive war going all over teyvat) we can actually guess when the transition took place. So angelica came to Khaenriah, who ever she is, and even if she lied about being from Liyue, her excuse still only makes sense if its during archon war. Like imagine angelica coming to khaenriah like lets say 1000 years after archon war, and then says that "Oh i came because rex lapis beat my god to dust"..and everyone from khaenriah looking at her funny, like bitch you are 1000 years too late. Her excuse only makes sense if she came around the time of Archon war. So black eclipse dynasty took over in Perinheri, that takes place somewhere right before or during archon war 2000 years ago.

My thoughts on the SQ are, to quote The Knave herself, "Very fun... But it's not enough." That's not a criticism of the story itself. It was great, and had some great subtle characterization moments (my favorite being where she says "Sorry for what? This pitiful excuse for an attack?" and you can hear in her voice that despite what she says, she's genuinely impressed and proud of them). But with Childe and Scara, we got good characterization from the AQ, then their SQ added to this and gave us a really good sense of what their story had been up to now. Even though I want to see more of them, I felt like I had gotten a complete story and didn't need to see them again. With Arlecchino, on the other hand, the AQ basically told us nothing about her. The SQ gave a good sense of what kind of a person she is, but when it comes to things like her true motives, her true goals, what she thinks of the Harbingers and what she wants for the future, I had more questions than answers. Her voice lines partially answer some of them, but not enough, and anyway I want to see that stuff play out in the game, not just read or hear about it. Which again, is not an indictment of the quest itself. I'm just saying, Hoyo better follow through. If all we ever get is fluff cameos in events and other characters' quests until we reach the endgame, I'm going to be very disappointed.

Wanderer doesn't have a story quest yet, he got an archon quest that focused on him. One you have to play for the main story quest, the other is optional, so that feels really weird comparison. Now her quest vs Childe's, I liked both a lot and I feel I got a similar level of insight for a first story quest

I think the 'corrupt little spirit' among the other ones in her boss fight is just Peruere, basically a representation of her past self before she cast away the name for Arlecchino...but who knows, it could also be Crucabena, and making it look corrupted is just to show how despicable she actually was beneath the mask of "Mother".

maybe the abyss sibling has become too attached or too dedicated to teyvat and thats how they lost their place as a descender. notice how the traveller is always so involved with everything and everyone, its like they are forgetting why they are in teyvat to begin with. the abyssal sibling has already gone through every nation and went farther and deeper than they shouldve, bam lost their original will and identity as an outsider. or maybe it was a single decision that made them bound to teyvat. idk honestly

One thing I find interesting about her Weekly Boss mats is that one of them, the Fading Candle, is, well, a candle, and her Constellation was thought to be something akin what’s called a “hand of glory” which is a candle made out of the severed hand of a someone who did bad deeds. It’s the hand of a sinner you could say *wink wink*. In her case tho I do think it’s more representative of her powers as well as the fact that she’s the leader of the House, so she has the fire of the Hearth in her hands and all that, but I remember the theories before she came out, about it being a Hand of Glory, and now with one of her drops being a candle, I wonder if it is supposed to be a Hand of Glory after all. Perhaps she’s seen as a sinner by the Khaenri’ahns for carrying the bloodline of the Crimson Moon. Who knows.

Had a Dual before the Throne against Signora = Might makes right. LOSER dies. - Here, the loser DIES. Shogun was the Judge. Shogun saw, judged and approved of our victory. Shogun KILLED Signora = Signora LOST. We WON.
