"Home is not a building, home is liberty, a place where memories live, in prosperity and peace. I came back home so I want my home back, I came back home so I want my home back, don't you leave us homeless, don't you leave us homeless, homeless homeless" Nice reaction Gitana, this song was written in 2019, the video was made in 2020, and it's about the conflict with Russia in 2014 involving the Crimea peninsula in Eastern Ukraine where Tati, Eugene, and Roman are from, but it even has more meaning today sadly. Keep up the great reactions Gitana, stay Metal, but most of all, let us all pray for Ukraine. ♥️♥️♥️🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

It was written about their experiences when their hometown was caught in the 2014 war in eastern Ukraine. It also speaks powerfully to the experiences of millions of ordinary people whose lives are caught in every war around the world, whoever the aggressor is, including those my homeland of America has started. Of course that doesn't excuse Putin's crimes. The rest of Europe has worked hard to put their many centuries-long histories of grievance behind them, but Putin holds on to the hatreds of the past and pushes them forward into the future. By pushing millions of Ukranians to hate Russia, we may see a new series of tit-for-tat wars in Eastern Europe now. Hopefully not, but the seeds are there. Hopefully they can be stamped out before they take root and grow.

Do not piss Europe and America, as always, we Ukrainians will do all the work, the main thing is that you submit cartridges on time. Ukrainian wars have been tempered for centuries in battles for freedom. We stopped the Mongols when the Russians surrendered for 300 years and licked Khan's boots, we fought back against the Turks, we fought back against the Aust-Hungarian Empire on one side and the Russian Empire on the other, we fought the Communists, we fought against the Nazis, now we are fighting again for their freedom with the Russian orcs, thereby ensuring peace in Europe. Pray for us, because if we fall, Romania, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Czech Republic need to get ready. You are NEXT

they're from the donetsk region so they're no strangers to war, with separatists and russia. I wouldn't really say they predicted a war with this song but rather they wanted they're "home back" because the area they're from is already destroyed b y war from years ago

About the Alice in Wonderland tea party scene, there is an old moral story involving The Rabbit, the Dog and the Tiger. Rabbit and Dog live in a forest and Dog notices that the Tiger has invaded where they live. Dog tells Rabbit, who becomes scared and realizes that he only knows one way of escaping the Tiger. He tells Dog this, who explains that he has many ways to escape the Tiger but is unwilling to share them with Rabbit because he doesn't feel Rabbit is intelligent enough to understand his tricks. Rabbit tells Dog that he will use his trick to escape from Tiger and Dog should use his tricks and hopefully they will meet again once the threat of the Tiger has passed. Tiger comes into their part of the forest and the Rabbit goes down a rabbit hole to escape while Dog is left to run in the open and try to hide. Of course, Tiger catches dog and kills him before he can hide. Had Rabbit and Dog communicated and shared each others tricks to escape the Tiger with each other, they perhaps would have met again and lived in peace once the threat was gone. It's a moral story about sharing - obviously in this version, Rabbit, Dog and Tiger all suffer the same fate

Per her, she listens to mainly Rap. One of her comments got an instant follow from me. She said "His vocal cords must have a 6 pack." I laughed for 5 minutes. I wonder what can be said about her vocal cords... 4 - Great reaction, as usual. Thank you.

Just to clarify, the war in Ukraine has been going on for years with Russian-backed separatists in the East in addition to an illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia. So this song was already relevant to the situation when it was released, but there's also some crazy foreshadowing going on in it with just how much it's obviously escalated now with a full-scale invasion happening.

@@cooltechnician they fled the apartment building they were all living in when their hometown in the Ukrainian province of Donetsk was being attacked. They fled 800 miles to Lviv near Poland. While fleeing, they wrote "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" and released the video a shot time thereafter. The poor living conditions in Lviv, however, meant Tatiana (and possibly the rest of the band) eventually moved back to Kiev where they live now. The members of Jinjer are are from the Donbas region in Eastern Ukraine and there has been fighting there since 2014 with Russian backed separatist rebels, but it has obviously become much worse since the all-out illegal, brutal Russian invasion of the country (ordered by the irrational, inhumane war criminal, Vladimir Putin #FUPutin). The song had significant meaning when they wrote it, but it's on a whole new level since the invasion. Slava Ukraine!!! 💛💙

They were all refugees when the Russians first came in and took over the East of the country back in I think 2014. That's where this song came from. The only reason they stayed a band after that was it was the only way they could scrape up enough money to eat. Which kind of paid off because they got really good and made a great career for themselves. Still...

Russia attacked the east of Ukraine back in 2014, Tatyana and the whole group hail from the Ukrainian city of Gorlovka, and when Gorlovka was captured by the orcs, the group was forced to move to Kyiv. It's just that the world tried not to notice the aggression of the Russian orcs. At that time, she meant her desire to be at home when Gorlovka returned to Ukrainian control. Horlivka was the center of the chemical industry in Ukraine.

There has been fighting in Ukraine for many years before the invasion. Do you know about the U.S. coup to overthrow the previous democratically elected communist leader of Ukraine to INSTALL the west backed current one? Not to get too politically involved here, but there is more than just Ukraine that suffers. The citizens of all countries aligned with these nations will suffer, and even those who don’t, but on a lesser scale. It’s always the citizens who suffer, not the oligarchy. Fighting wars for a political agenda on the global chessboard. All I have to say is Putin(even though the man is a monster) has his reasons for doing what he did. The U.S. played a part in that, and Biden’s weak leadership emboldened him to take action. I feel bad for Ukrainian citizens, I truly do. They didn’t choose this, just as Russian citizens didn’t choose this, just as the rest of us didn’t choose this. It’s leaders who do this when they don’t get the desired response. Sometimes war is justifiable, sometimes it isn’t. Guess it all depends on the reason, what side you’re on, and who’s feeding you your information.

The history of practically every war is too complicated to say it’s his or her fault. We all are lead to believe we are right because of where we are born, Nationalistic beliefs, Religious beliefs and we are told we are right. The truth lies somewhere in the middle of both sides propaganda and the rich and powerful always profit and benefit and sadly the average people get their lives torn apart and we all forget about it soon as another “crisis” emerges and we change our profile pictures to another flag and hope it isn’t actually us who are ones that everyone else changes their profile picture colours for next. The media all over the world tells us who to direct our anger at so we never as the real questions of how and why when it’s just history repeating over and over again and never a solution to stopping the endless suffering at the expense of power and riches of of political and corporate leaders who always benefit.
