Another banger from Jinjer with Home Back. Not only an important song, but a brilliant one too. Loved this reaction and won't forget it any time soon.

The way she screams "I came back home so I want my home back" gets me emotional. It's not a scream to just sound heavy and badass, it has an element of pain to it.

I had tears in my eyes multible times listening to this song. For some reason the part where she sings "soldirs boots maching to the beat" and you see the shadows of the soldirs outside the window gives me chills. This band is a big part of my life right now i am so incredibly happy i found them.

This song choked me up when listening to it on Macro and reading the lyrics, but seeing Tatiana perform it and seeing the accompanying imagery of the video just makes it hit so much harder. It’s just heartbreaking to get a glimpse of what the members of Jinjer, their families, people of that part of the world, and all people in others parts of the world suffering the horrific reality and devastation of war.

@@Skurian_krotesk feel that, too. And the thing that this teaparty-scene is a real memory of Tati: They were having a garden-party /gathering, when the aircraft-struck began.. "Why is this party looking so bizarre? A party.. no, it is w.a.r" And they ran home, packed up quickly smtg and drove fast across the border. Just in time. Soon it closed and they wouldn't have gotten through anymore.

I said something similar on Tanks reaction... I have seen more than my fair share of war. More than anyone should experience. BUT, I had a safe home in the best country on Earth that I could eventually come back to, and where my loved ones were safe. I cant imagine the pain of living and growing up in a war torn area. I’m glad they’ve been able to use their life to make amazing art.

JINJER are from Eastern Ukraine, Donetsk region. Their native town was and still remains occupied by pro-russin forces. And all the band members became war refugees and had to move to a different region (at first Lviv in Western Ukraine and later on Kyiv - the capital). This is a very personal song for them.

The song is very deep meaning. Jinjer always takes you on a journey. Not a huge growling fan but the way they mix it up keeps it interesting. For an amateur like me it´s both a lesson and a joy to watch you explain and deconstruct the more technichal side of these Jinjer bangers! Great stuff, really! This one is a hell of a track that is a bit in the shadow of Macro´s brilliant first half. And the video is stunning, probably their best visual work so far. Great reaction. The part that resonated with me most was where you talked about how unique are their vocal/lyrical abilities and musicianship. It's one of the main reasons they never get old to me. To that end, allow me to recommend Sokoninaru. They're another unique band that, though sounding different overall, has that same ability as Jinjer to musically and vocally go places you didn't think were possible, and are amazing once they get there in such a masterful fashion. If interested, I'd start with "Tenohira De Odoru".

The subject is easy to understand and figure they had been and are still impacted by the war in their country. So I also think it is a good song to figure how they blend gender. What do you think about the jazzy part? It is easy to figure : ok, we are use to with Jinjer. But I think they do those transitions on purpose. First, they like to have break down and contrast between soft and hard part. But also to pass emotion or message. For me, this jazzy part was a way to say that before war, life was good. But also look how bizarre are her guess, like wolfs with strange masks. And I think it may have another meaning : by the way they figure life was good, the seeds of war was already there among them.

what you say @ 3:25 regarding their ability to place vocal melodies so they can still shine through without letting off the gas instrumentally.. - you're a bit off. Because, Vlad, Roman and Eugene write and complete the music, then, hand it over to Tati, alone, to write lyrics. - That's how good Tati is. ✌🖤🤘 They don't all sit down to structure a song around lyrics.

Ok, you just called me a troll on your new years live stream because I said that anyone who reacts to babymetal has sold out. lets discus You react to bands like nightwigh and Jinjer, bands with integrity and honesty. Bands that built their following from the ground up. If you consider a corporate construct like baby metal to be in the same fucking league then who is the troll?

@@ChaseCarneson I've been a subscriber of yours since you did ghost love score. I watch lots of reactors. But as the youtube reaction movement grows it also attracts many fakes. 'yet another voice coach' The distinguishing factor is integrity. "do they actually get the music?" So when someone raves over Jinjer or Nightwish, then raves just as passionately over the utter bullshit that is babymetal then we question their integrity
