Dude this is NOT good news. Did you see the new Beavis and Butthead? I love anything Greg Daniels does, but I’m gonna head into this one with extreme pessimism. I truly hope they take it back to character driven stories and not all the goofy madcap situational stuff from the later seasons. Lost its heart after season 6 or so.

I definitely on the fence with it. You are correct too. Season seven started an era of new writers who failed to trust the source material, and continuity was completely dismantled. There were still a lot of hilarious moments, but it didn’t hit home like the first 6 seasons.

@Sheldon That’s the problem. They’ll probably avoid taking a real stance on social and political issues the way they did in the 90s. It’s going to be a mockery of its former self. They’ll nerf Hank into a brainless MAGA caricature or maybe a modern “moderate neo-con” who saw the light and turned away from “those trump maniacs”. Either way, you can’t expect a mainstream media company to green light anything that comes close to the original KOTH.
