Lara was facing hard times , both on the personal (health, love betrayal and breakup) and professional (her progress blocked in the US by her own record company) sides. Her fanbase knew it and wanted to show support and they used this song, her biggest hit, in France, Russia and Eastern Europe, replacing the title Je t’aime / I love you by On t’aime / We love you. I love how Lara, after the initial surprise, establishes a beautiful dialog with the crowd, giving them room to sing with her. It shows how benevolent and humble she is. The song itself is a gem and she has performed it in many different ways: here are 2 versions, the first one powerful, the second subtle and delicate kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6S0YnltpJuinac kzbin.info/www/bejne/ommVZ6Wid7Shb9k “Je t’aime” was written by Lara Fabian and Rick Allison, her music producer and composer. He also had been her boyfriend for a few years, at the start of her career. This song was written when their love evolved to a friendship and speaks about a couple splitting while still having a lot of sentiments one for the other.

Je T'aime (I Love You - lyrics Lara Fabian and probably her most famous song). A fan yells "don't sing, Lara!" looking bewildered she hears her fans start singing. Lara starts with "you caught me off guard!" As she starts another fan cries out "don't cry. Lara". Her fans had contacted her pianist and arranged this epic and beautiful tribute to surprise Lara during a personal crisis of losing some close a few days before this concert. So 6000+ (some say up to 8000) joined in singing her song and when Lara sung: Je T'aime (I Love You) her fans responded: On T'aime (We Love you!). You would think that this was Freddie Mercury's last concert performed before a sold out concert!!

Hello Lucie, is there a greater declaration of love from the audience to a singer? Lara was completely surprised. But she also needed it. She is said to have had big problems privately at the time and there was probably also the thought that she could stop singing. Thousands of voices sing "We love you". Balm for her soul. Wow, every artist can only wish for fans who stand by you and take an interest when you go through a dark time. As far as I know she had a trouble time and she had also found out that Celin Dion (management) had prevented her career in the USA. Lara’s fans made an agreement with the pianist and sang the song for Lara. Have Celin Dion fans ever sung to her to comfort and support her? I think at that moment she felt that the USA is not the hub of the world and that she will have a great career like that.

Absolutely so emotional and beautiful. Apparently Lara had been having some very difficult time’s, the fan club had contacted the pianist, I believe and requested that they do this, Lara had no idea, obviously. Lara is one of Dimash’s idols, people like Lara and Dimash touch peoples souls and we become an extended family, very strongly bonded, it’s different from other fans of bands, it a completely different level. I can’t watch this too often, I love it every time. Just so you know, Dimash covered Adagio, Lara contacted him after his performance in 2017 and complemented him, such an amazing performance.

Here is the story: Lara's husband dies absurdly. And Lara falls into a severe depression for 2 years. There was even a moment when she wanted to commit suicide! But the musicians from her group did not allow her to do this... So it took about 2 years. And the leader of their ensemble (he is sitting at the piano in the video) persuaded Lara to continue her vocal performances. And Lara still agreed. But the head of the ensemble came up with one trick to raise Lara's state of mind. Before singing her song "Je t'aime" Before singing her song, he persuaded the audience in the audience that before the first verse he would stop playing the piano and the audience would have to sing the song instead of Lara. (Lara did not know about this). ... and the hall sang... Lara's surprise knew no bounds. She even cried when she saw how much her fans love her. You can see it clearly on the video.
