England had a fairly easy route to the semi-final and were clear favourites in all all their games. They scraped their way through penalties against a tricky columbia side and that's it. They played 3 games against belgium and croatia; sides that could actually compete with them and lost all 3 of them.

I am afraid England might struggle this year. Kane is so important but so injury prone. And he seems tired the last couple of weeks. My starting Eleven would be: Pickford; TAA, Walker, Maguire, Stones, Chilwell; Henderson, Rice; Sancho, Kane, Sterling. In case Henderson is not fit I would replace him with Philips, without Kane I would play Calvert-Lewin in his position.
