They changed it so that rather then mages being batteries that pull from ine source and then cast whatever they want. But no, Fire spells are the taboo. Wtf. How hard is it. (The pulling mana from a source of power is a spell, so if they go to 0%, they are royally fucked). Like how is ciri supposed to lose her magic power because she got self possessed after pulling mana from fire to cast a healing spell in the last living unicorn in a middle of the hotest desert right next to the actual livable area. Which prevents her from becoming the strongest being in the verse (or at least top 3). Oh, spoilers I guess. If you are offended by it, don't be affraid, that's not gonna happen in the show. It won't even make it there. So, Imagine if Tony Stark became the strongest being in tbe verse and Thanos lost a fight to hawkeye, how hype would the final fight of the entire avengers vs Thanos would be? None. It makes no fucking sense.

As someone who loves the books, and games, I'm not sure it would have been bigger. Game of Thrones is the kind of lightning in a bottle scenario that's incredibly difficult to repeat, even when you know what you're doing. What the show would have been though is actually successful, since book and game fans would have actually stayed on to watch this damn thing.

The show was helmed by a spiteful feminist hack with no projects under her belt who openly hates and mocks the fans, after Szapkowski once again thought a quick buck is the better idea. He regretted that with CDPR, and he's openly regretted it with this show. I'm starting to see a pattern here with that old fool. We should praise the heavens that Eiichiro Oda is so utterly protective of One Piece!

Netflix, Hollywood basically, yes. But not always. There is A LOT of bs ESG, DEI, woke garbage and anti-normality decisions. Henry Cavill was too based for them, so they scrapped him. now he even has problems with Warhammer new show. apparently, the execs don't wanna stick to lore. They have learned NOTHING! Netflix is a mixed bag, cause they support anything. They on one hand have Fallout and One piece, which were really good! Sure, Fallout had some forced woke shit, like the scene where they made Lucy basically a 304 + the black guy kiss, which was definitely there just to appease DEI. But its nowhere near the travesty Dragon ball evolution or Death note movie were. And dont let me start on the Cleopatra shit. Seems Netflix has many directors and show makers, and they give them a free hand. Thus, good shows prevail, while bs like Witcher s3 and now 4 will fail epically!

Henry Cavill was never really a good fit for Geralt. He always stood out as a miscast, everyone just got used to seeing him. It’s why outside of the garbage wish or Temu version comments everyone copies and paste. Many see the problem not being Liam but the writing(I think it’s fine but understand the complaints). Henry Cavill always came off as too clean cut and cosplay. It’s why they had no issue replacing him. Liam Hemsworth actually fits the part better simply based on look. I’m sure he’ll do fine in acting as well. I guarantee when the first episode drops you’ll see people have to force themselves not to like him in the role. Either through blind loyalty to an actor they have no personal connection to or just to join the bandwagon online which rarely if ever represents the real world opinions. See Assassin’s Creed Shadows killing pre-orders even in Japan.

This is even more of a fuck up than Halo because the Witcher story if they just followed the source material even just a decent amount of it we would be talking easily 10/10. You think of some of the Contracts Geralt does in Witcher 3 they were so damn good. We only had one good episode that felt like something from the game and that was Season 2 episode 1 in the mansion with the curse. Geralt is essentially a Detective with cheats and he is also a complete badass.
