I also don’t go places without my husband or father anymore. Canada is a very scary, unsafe place now and I don’t feel comfortable alone. The last straw was when I had a man come into the women’s washroom to tell me I can’t close the door and lock it. My husband now stands in front of every public space (6’5”, 270 pounds of muscle) and no man comes in, regardless of how they identify. Period. And I’m no slouch! I’m 6’1” but very slight. I’m about 40 minutes from where you live (lived?) and I’m so thankful to stay at home and privately school or child, I can’t imagine engaging with the bin fire society has become.

Wow that’s so scary! I’ve had a few scary things happen to me as well but when we lived in Montreal (not Windsor, I think we left before it got really bad). However, my husband said a few days ago he heard a mother got attacked and her baby almost stolen from traffickers from Toronto, in Windsor at central mall (be very careful). I’ve noticed it’s bad almost everywhere now unless you go to small towns more out west (Alberta/sask not BC as they have a huge drug problem due to their weaker provincial government; we actually got our RV vandalized in BC although we were at a “fancy” rv park).

@@CynthiaL what?! I’d love to sit here and say I’m surprised but I’m not. A friend is Chatham-Kent detective and former beat cop and we were speaking about child/woman safety one day. The stats that he pulled out were crazy! He said that CK, Lambton, Essex and Lakeshore/Windsor are kidnapping hotbeds. The police actually have cameras hidden and X-ray cars that drive around cities and the highway to the borders, Windsor and Bluewater, to monitor cars and look in backseats and trunks. Because we’re so close to the border there’s an incredible amount of human trafficking that occurs. And the US is, most disgustingly, the number one consumer of child sex slavery in the world-worse than Thailand that has a whole, well-known industry! He also said to keep kids under 10 particularly close, as tender age boys and girls are the main target. He did say that this has become more of a prevalent issue over the past seven years. I have no reason to disbelieve him, he deals with this for a living! Truly, one may never be too careful. As for your RV being vandalized, I wish I was surprised about that, too. It’s such a shame that society has degenerated so much. It’s hard to see that people have lost their ability to see and respond to humanity. It’s a real shame. I was a university professor for 10 years, from 27 until 37, having quit last year. If what the schools are bringing in and turning out is any indication, it’s not going to get better. I hope you’re safe and well and that you stay that way, wherever you decide to drop anchor, so to speak.

Thank you for this sweet little vlog! I have been praying for some more inspiration to romanticize my roles as wife, mother, and homemaker lately as I’ve been so burnt out with my 3 kiddos very close in age. More importantly though, I am so inspired by your sweet and soft spirit. There’s been some femininity content that I have seen lately that has felt very feisty, and while that’s not really a bad thing, it’s not really the route I want to go in my own journey. You’re an inspiration! ❤

3 kids close in age is a blessing but definitely would have its challenges!! I can relate to what you’re saying about seeking inspiration, I have my favorite comfort vloggers as well that help keep me motivated as a mom. I feel lucky to me one of those for you, I often have imposter syndrome from everyone watching but I am so grateful🩷🩷

@@CynthiaL I also need to add that I am SO grateful you are so open about your kids having screen time. As someone without a lot of support (my family lives 12 hours away, my In laws an hour away and husband is in law enforcement). I feel like I need screen time to honestly just survive. 😅 I think there is such a stigma to be perfect in this area and I simply don’t have a situation to be able to do that and not go crazy or get anything done.

I love that you use gloves to clean. Putting an apron on is always based and your housedress is so cute and always on point. Instead of a housewife, you're an RVwife right now. Lol lots of love for you and your wonderful family.

A good idea to decorate for fall is to put up fall lights. I bought some for $5 at my grocery store. They are orange and it creates such a warm glow and ambiance. Also. There's no added clutter that way!

I’ve noticed quite a few people decorating with lights in RVs in particular, I feel like that would definitely give a super cosy vibe!

I've had that casserole dish since I left my parents house, 20 years ago. I love it! It came in a set of 3, actually. I still have 2, and I broke one.

Hello Cynthia! Haven't commented in a long while, but I've been watching you since you first started. Look at how much has changed for you....mom life suits you! How long are you in the RV? Is your family relocating out west? We are experiencing a huge influx of home buyers coming to Alberta from Ontario and Vancouver. All the best to you.🥰🇨🇦♥️

I knew someone would catch on soon enough to change in scenery👀😆🩷. More updates when the time is right. I just don’t want to say, “this is what we decided to do” and do something else because there are a lot of logistics to figure out first, which is why we are in the RV longer now!
