Hi studybuddies, the morning is a time where I struggle the most to be productive and even being awake. It's a time I normally despise, and I honestly don't know how people get up at 5 am. I'm definitely not a morning person but I do want to make the most of it and for 2019 I wanted to set a standard for myself to be as motivated and productive as possible in the morning.

Hey Brian, I just want to say thank you so much for posting this video with your acne in show. I have acne and I get exactly what you mean about not wanting to leave the house because you feel so disgusting and like everyone's just looking at you. I know logically they don't stare but it's hard to think about anything else. Anyway, thank you for being open with it. I've recently started going bareface to my uni classes, it's been almost a week so far and at first I hated every second but now I'm starting to get used to it. I see people with acne around and I don't stare, so I think to myself "I'm sure they're not staring either". This was a ramble lol. But thank you! Thank you thank you! You're such an inspiration 🥰🌟🌠✨

i really appreciate how you’re a guy and you do makeup and it doesn’t really seem like a big deal to you. it kinda helps give me the confidence to not feel so weird about doing my makeup in morning. i fill in my eyebrows and contour because i feel like my face is kind of embarrassingly feminine, but even putting the makeup on makes me feel kinda awkward seeing as i’m a dude, and the products seem like they’re marketed to girls. sorry for ranting, this was a really cool video!
@springday.
@springday. 5 жыл бұрын
giveyouthesun you should do whatever you feel comfortable with. I feel like there are so many guys nowadays that do their makeup and break the norms. As soon as you get used to it you’ll feel confident with it. If girls can wear and use whatever guys wear and use it should be the same the other way around. I hope you’re having a good day :)

Yaass, I feel that litterally anyone can wear makeup if it makes them feel comfortable or more confident, etc. You go my dude - and I view it as completely normal, like it's just face coverage. I really dislike how society aims these products towards just women, I feel that men also deserve some luv in the beauty side. Like just do what makes you feel better for yourself! (I can't really say much as I don't personally wear makeup) but you do you, and I hope you feel more confident, and you don't need to feel weird about it, cause it's litterally just the same :)

For acne maybe look at your diet? I used to have it sooo bad (lol it’s still bad) but I sent a hair sample to a lab and they sent me back a list of things I was allergic/sensitive to. I have stopped eating gluten and oats, strawberries, blueberries, cheddar, and a bunch of other stuff and I’ve lost weight and my skin has cleared up. I don’t have awful breakouts anymore and I don’t even do any extra skincare. Maybe I could clear the last little bit if I did 😂

You shouldn't think too much about acne, it's a part of you and it is important to accept it first and not hate yourself for having it. After you accepted it the problem is almost solved. What I can recommend is tea tree oil (for the active outbreaks) and rose water as a face spray??? (Really helped me back in the day) I would also recommend looking at your diet and eliminating animal products, but if you are not ready to go plant based just try to stop consuming dairy and eat meat less and fish more as fish is usually better for you overall.

As you get older, you'll start to care less about what other people think. I'm 27 and STILL have acne. You'll come to realize that stuff like acne is trivial in comparison to other important stuff you'll deal with in life. Not only that, but the vast majority of people don't even care about your acne lol. As in, no one's actually evaluating your attractiveness based on your acne. No one sits around talking shit about your acne, even if they dont like you. I had really bad acne when I met my husband, but he didn't even care, as I came to find out! And still thinks I'm beautiful even though I struggle with it. It gets better as you become a grown man and as your colleagues start maturing too. Never forget that there's more important things to worry about, and you'll soon find yourself being less self-conscious about your acne. At least that's how it went for me. Best of luck!

Hey sweet! I struggled with acne too and for years i used idk maybe 20 cleanser brands and none of them worked for me until i tried a korean cleanser by cosrx which is the ‘Good morning cleanser’. This was recommended a LOT of youtubers especially asian utubers. This one saved me bc i tried using other cleanser after using a bottle of cosrx and my breakout came back. So i went back to cosrx again and my skin was saved. It seriously help my acne. Just want to highly highly highly recommend this cleanser to anybody out there struggling with acne. Acne is normal but i just wanted to share something with u all maybe it may help some of u

I have had acne since I was 11 and I still battle it at almost 20. I have learned how to get it more under control after years of research as well as trial and error. To anyone reading this, acne does not define you! You are still beautiful and amazing even with acne! So keep being awesome and don’t let it get you down:)

for your acne, maybe look at your diet also the less products you use, the better! skincare is great but I found out that when trying to get rid of acne and calm my skin down, minimizing what i put works better than using 5 diff products :) Also dw you do not look gross and you are just plainly not gross at all :)

Have you ever tried using curology? (Not sure I spelled it right) if you are worried about your acne, I suggest them.

I remember how my acne was the worst, I had pimples everywhere and scars on my face, my skin was oily like a freakin fryer, my skin was discussing, and to top it off, I got bullied for it

yaaaay videooo and acne sucksss! maybe try limiting serums to night? sometimes using too much products can irritate your skin. i’ve learned that the hard way ._.

Have you tried tea tree oil? I had a huge bad breakout and after about a week of using it, it was clear. It also cools your skin :)

hey maybe u already know this but ur alimentation can be also a cause of acne/inpure skin. I for example have a light diary intolerance but it has an enormous impact on my skin. I found this out by doing a test... maybe the next time ur at ur doctor ask them for an intolerances test! It helped my skin tremendously now i just have a few spots once in a while but nothing like before.

I had severe acne for 2 years. Tried a lot of products but didnt get rid of them. Until... i started using sea salt with ice water to wash my face day and night for a month, during that month no make up at all. Just let the salt do their thing, no toner no moisturiser. I see my acne slowly diminishing and all gone in a month. Ever since then i swapped back to foam cleansing and toner, now i occationally get a pimple or two in a year

To help the acne, you should try Curology. You will have your own dermatologist and they will make a certain formula made for your skin and no one has the same formula for their skin and this will help with the acne

Heyyo - just so you know that tea tree oil helps a ton with hormonal acne 🌻 My sister had really bad acne and she started using a tea tree serum and exfoliator from Body Shop and it practically cleared up in a couple weeks
