Beautiful hair 💕 something I do on wash day, is detangling my hair (with my fingers or a wide tooth comb) while under the running water after adding conditioner it really helps to loosen to tangles, especially if you wear your hair out

I’d just tie my hair with hair ties in four sections and wear a bonnet and sleep on a satin pillow in case it came off😊🫶🏾

Hii sorry for the late response, during my first couple of years I’d loosely braid my hair in about six or so sections thenI moved onto using the banding method to retain length but later on Id just put in a bonnet and call it a night haha 🤍

Girl i have very thick her like you and it is extremely hard to care for, it gets hard so easily to the point i wash and moisturise and then when im about to get it done the next day its so hard combs start to break

You may want to look at what the products you’re using are based on 🫶🏾 if you’re using oil based products ( look at the ingredient list- if an oil is listed on the first 5 ingredients then it’s oil based) and your hair is as dry as you describe it to be then you may want to try out water based products ( same thing applies- just in this case water will water listed) and vise versa🤍
