Girl, remember, there's no scale when it comes to health. Just because someone has it worse (or different) doesn't mean that you cannot feel or talk about what you're going through. You're important. Sending hugs and take as much rest as you need! Stay strong :)

Came here to say this. Your worst pain will always be in your own scale. You can’t know something you’ve never experienced. It’s okay to say it was terrible and painful for you

Alicja Fijał This message is so important. I have endometriosis and PCOS. I continued telling myself my mom had it worse and it looked sooo painful (besides the bleeding uncontrollably and fainting) but I only had bad cramps that made me feel dizzy. Now I'm on my treatment and I'm like "ohh so this is a normal cramp". My life is so much different now.

I also came here to say something very similar. It sounds like it was a pretty scary experience and we are all so glad you are better now. We are always comparing to the worst pain or scariest experience we’ve had. Since I had a child that is the most painful but amazing experience I’ve ever had x

Please do not apologize or downplay your pain. Yes, there are other people in the world having it worse, however, they are not you. You are allowed to feel fear, anxiety and worry about your health situation. We all live in our own sphere of reference. In this instance you were experiencing what may have been your first real scary medical issue. The fact your ovary ended up being twisted around, and possibly having complications from that, that scared ME!! I am beyond happy you are on the mend. Do not ever downplay what happened to you. Just take your time, all the time you need, and start creating when you're in a better head space.

Also, bodily fluids/functions don't gross us out. Except for sputum from a tracheostomy... that's disgusting. Good job pronouncing laproscopy! (Lap-row-s-cop-ee). And as you're my inspiration and favorite youtuber, I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE DOING WELL!!!! Can't wait to see your upcoming videos! I totally agree with you on the 'CT scan saves lives' , because no one ever believed me there was anything wrong with my heart although I kept on pushing my pain and problems. The last thing my Cardiologist told me that he had to close my medical file, because there was nothing wrong...until I refused and he suggested to get a CT scan....after that he recognized something severely was wrong with my heart. Long story short: without the CT scan I would have died a year ago....

Girl, you've got no reason to say that what you've gone through isn't big, because at the end of the day no one should really have the right to down size your problems... Each of us have our own problems to deal and sometimes that scares us, but it might not scare everyone around us because they had 'bigger' problems. if that makes sense, we get scared of things that we cant technically control. So i completely get why you freaked out and tweeted the way you did :) love you, and im so happy youre feeling better

I just want to say thank you for talking about some of the more embarrassing parts of being in the hospital.. I feel like no one really talks about it even though everyone goes through it, and I think it makes it less scary and embarrassing to hear people talk about it openly.
