I've been testing a DARK engine (armageddon, malicious, etc) and I've been liking it a lot. The problem with warg and primitive butterfly is that they burn through your hand too fast.

I run a tzolkin red dragon deck since gofu makes it easy to get the support and also have red dragon easily usable alongside it.

Yeah, don't play Risebell. In fact, I would definitely try a 3 Terrortop/1-2 Taketomborg and 2-3 Creation Resonators to stack levels *even more* efficiently...whenever Red Rising Dragon decides to present itself to the TCG. Also keep in mind that Butterfly is a Wind that can be level 5 *or* 6...yeah.

Why not play Hieratics? First turn Abyss without a Normal is insane, and the Tribute potential in this deck is really strong, especially with Bane. Not to mention Atum, REDMD and Gaia Dragon always push OTKs like a well-oiled land tank.

Tefnuit -> Su -> Galaxy Serpent -> Red Dragon Archfiend -> Synkron Resonator -> Abyss is a simple combo. Very easy, very consistent. Thrown in a Soul Charge and you're looking at an ending board with Abyss, Atum, Bane and a REDMD as Tribute fodder for Bane or moar Hieratic plays.

for the extra deck i prefer to use 3 hot red dragons, 3 scarlights, 3 abyss, 2 banes, 2 tyrants, 1 red nova dragon and 1 calamity for pure red dragon synchro deck. and instead of all the random stuff in the main deck i prefer to use pure resonators. but thats me. drowning mirror force x2 also helps a lot..and reject reborn ends ur opponents battle phase and lets u special summon a a synchro monster plus 1 tuner lol..

I'm thinking whenever Red Rising Dragon wants to present itself to the TCG, a Wind engine is gonna make Resonators *huge.* I've been toying with 2 Primitive Butterfly, 2 Creation Resonators, 3 Terrortop and the obligatory Taketomborg (of which you could actually play 2 consistently) for a little while, and...it's *dirty.* The versatility and flexibility of Synchro-climbing is obviously a big deal for this deck, and there's no better engine than a Wind/Resonator engine for abusing the stacking of the levels.

You could replace the primitive butterfly for Kaiser vorse raider adding more foil cards to the deck since it doesn't have very many and it is already a level 6 with a slightly easier special summon ability and a better secondary effect as well as better stats. Just my opinion that's what I run :)

True, but Primitive Butterfly has the ability to modulate its own Level, increasing the versatility of the Synchro plays.

+Harrison Xu Twin Twisters and Instant Fusion both go for $10 a piece, with Raigeki at $20. That's their current market value, and it's been that way for a while. There's not a single modern-day deck that costs nearly as little as $10.

Actually, Raigeki is $15 and Instant Fusions are $4, but otherwise you're right. I forgot about them since you don't technically need them. I guess if you just stick them in every deck you make then no deck will ever be cheap.

Harrison Xu​ TCG player doesn't sell at market price. It's just a platform for people to sell their cards for however much they want. The seller who has the Raigeki for $12 doesn't seem to know/care about the value, but that's better for everyone else.

An even better lv 6 synchro (imo) is red rising dragon. allows for better combos

you should run 2 scar light, no need to run hot red. if there is something bigger then 3K make a bigger red dragon

under 20$ most of the red cards are like 50 cents the synchros are like 2-4 dollars and scarlight is 20$ and ghost ogres are like 10-12

I'm pretty I saw the same build, I like the fact that it's more pure, with no synchrons, but Ultimaya is such a good card. I feel like if you can make it in a deck you should.
