I have experimented a lot and I found that the best suite for IC is the Kubala Sosna Emotion, I have tried Furutech's Kimber Select's and Cristal's. The Power Chord is Furutech PowerFlux HANDS DOWN !! I have a few Shunyata Anaconda's and they don't get even close to the performance of the PowerFlux on the Accuphase. For CDP I Have a DCS Puccini but I don't listen to CD's anymore. I transfered all my music to a NAS HD and I use a dedicated Mac Mini with Pure Music to reproduce it ;)

Cool ... You let me know about your Acrolink Experiment. I never had the chance to hear any of they're cables, though, I have a friend mad about them. I didn´t had the chance to try the KS Speaker cable as well, I am not even curious about it, cos I believe that My Kimber Select 3038 would be a tough one to beat on that subject. Two other SC that worked truly well with my system, but nos as good as the KS 3038 were the Transparent Reference XL and the Nordost Valhalla ... ;) Cheers

;) I am not a Hi-End Dealer, like I said this is just a Hobby.. I am an IT Guy I have a company that support Apple products here in Portugal. BTW my vinyl is kept up-straight all the time, no need for the extra furniture, and this room is temperature controlled all year between 17º and 22º like a good bottle... ;) Cheers PS: If one day you have the chance to put up a good sounding Naim system (not difficult at all) you will see why I keep these ;)

thx! will try to find the furutech powerflux. another one i'm curious to try is acrolink mexcel 7n-9300, supposed to be good as well. but recently told they'll be coming out with the 9n copper so probably should wait a bit for the new. had ks elation pc/ic/sc, they were good but didn't really like them on my soulution and accuphases, not dense n organic enough, i'd imagine the emotion r better in that sense..

Well ... Now that you mention that ... They totally thrashed the A60, has we use to say here is like comparing as ass with a pair of trousers ;) Basically, thats the reason I changed my ART 3 Pre amp with the Soulution 720. That Setup is a killer best sound I ever had in my room. But wanna hear something odd, I didn´t like them a bit, paired with my 720 Pre amp, so my next move (late this year) will be a Soulution 710 to replace the A-60

Chiba, the album is a Vinyl from a German duo called Friend and Fellow. They have a few records go buy them all great recordings and dead silent vinyl !!!! Very recommendable !! Regarding your system; Focus on the Music, that must always come first, after that comes resolution. Remember in High end every detail counts ;)

beautifully put together, well done! what cabling from experience u find suit the accuphases best, ic sc n pc? I'm also using accuphase class-a amp + a different make pre-amp. for cdp what r u using? cheers!

taming coming from the Kubala Sosnas or the Kimber Select 3038 ? ;) The setup I was talking about was the 500 Pre and mono's Never heard better synergy from any other Pre / Power combo (till today) ;) I didn´t like the synergy between the 500 mono´s with my 720 Preamp. The 720 / A-60 sounds a lot better (to my ears).

i think accu amps need fast pres otherwise it could sound a tad bit slow/plodding, ur move from CJ is right. on other hand, soulution needs a bit of taming somewhere in the chain to sound musical or otherwise it could sound a lil' mechanical.. but maybe for lp's playback still ok. I now still hv the soulution710 (3yrs) & an old fma611 (20yrs). just added the new accuphase a-200 earlier this year. imo, while 710 is more impressive/showy, the a-200 is more musical in its subtlety and immersive ways.. hard to press the stop button with 'em playing! tried accuphase c3800 pre too, but preferred the combo of a200 with my current pre. u should gv the a200 at least a listen if looking to change amp. btw.ur system as is already sounding damn fine n balanced now why the change? ;)

Hello me again , ok fair enough , this is your reference system , I apologise , it looks & I imagine it's superb, are you a hifi dealer? That power amp of yours looks great, I would still sell the Naims get a rack for your records, fair play your system here would crap over mine from a great height

I would love to have the chance to listen to the A-200's but we don't have a local dealer for Accuphase in Portugal :(. I had the chance to try the C-390V with my A-60 and I preferred the Soulution, more musical and most of all with a lot more resolution. The essence of this Hobby is the pursuit of perfection (witch I know it doesn't exist), thats why, the change to the 710 ;) You let me know if you're willing to sell yours :)) Cheers

I see this was made 5yrs ago. I hope you sold out this bad sounding system already. You have 6 negatives which is unacceptable for the system costing so much as it costs
