So i was originally going to make a 20-ish minute video about me talking about this situation but due to me being EXTREMELY busy, i thought a long comment post about this would be a better idea as it would have been much easier for me and saved me a ton of time. By now you guys have probably seen the following videos on my (inactive) channel: a map from minecrafthappyhappy com, update on the minecrafthappyhappy com website and a message from minecrafthappyhappy com but what all you of don't know is that there is a quite a backstory behind these three videos. But before i delve into this comment, everything that happened is 100% real, i know that pretty much every single person that is going to read this is going to think this is some bad attempt at me making something creepy but this isn't some sort of sick joke, a creepypasta, ARG or whatever you want to think it is, this actually happened a while ago. To begin one of the first questions that i'd like to answer is who is exactly Matias (the person in the minecrafthappyhappy com videos) as he has never been mentioned on this channel in any way and i am pretty sure not even once. So to save you all some time and mine as well, in short matias was an childhood friend of mine that used to live in the same neighborhood as me a few years ago. We were pretty decent friends, he was one of the many i had back in the day but we still did play some games together and he'd always hang out in my house when i invited my boys to hang out. one day however (i think it was around jan-march 2021) matias abruplty told me and my friend group that he was going to move away to another country which was and i bet it might seem very random to some people but it was Hungary. He never directly told us the reason on why he was moving away, but from what i could remember (as this was almost a long time ago), his family was in a pretty poor financial state and they apparently were acquainted with some company in hungary that i don't remember the name to. And yeah of course aroud that time i was a bit heartbroken to see him go, but i still wished him the best. He also told us that he would like to stay in touch with us through discord and play games and so the only way i was able to contact him now and talk to him was through discord. We did chat for a little while but he quickly stopped being active often but yk i was fine with it because he was busy with his life ig. Now this is where the story about minecrafthappyhappy com starts (very random and out of nowhere ik): about 2.5 years later (april 2023 to be exact), i received a kind of "creepy" message from matias on discord that only said "check your gmail account". the email that he sent was a massive and i mean a MASSIVE pile of text with a google drive link to a specific .mp4 video, and you can probably guess what it was if you’ve seen the a map from minecrafthappyhappy com video (and to anyone that is about to write a response to this part: no, i don't have that original email as i deleted it a few weeks after receiving it when i was still completely unaware of everything). At that time, i thought that his video was simply a prank or maybe some sort of free mc creepypasta video, which isn't a totally new concept for me as one of my staff members on discord already did that a while ago for me. And my reasoning on why i didn't believe it to be anything serious is because a video about a "scary minecraft map that has a ransomware virus" sounds like the tyypicalest typical creepypasta i've ever seen in my life but man was i clueless back then. I even told my own staff members on my discord server to post some teasers and label it as a creepypasta. the video premiered in june 2023 and of course, unsurprisingly everyone thought that the video was just a silly creepypasta and nothing else. If that video was just that, a simple creepypasta then this story and this comment would have ended right here, but that wasn't the case obviously. So around 3 months later when the first video premiered, matias sent me more messages and later another video about minecrafthappyhappy com and i just casually uploaded it wuithout too much thinking. But then soon after, he sent me the third video which is THE MAIN REASON on why i wanted to make a video about this in the first place. basically, to summarize that video as much as possible, in that video it became pretty much clear that this minecrafthappyhappy com website/person/people knew who i was and where matias currently lived (which by the way, unless he intentionally wanted to dox himself, there were only a few people that i know irl very closely knew where Matias was moving away to). But wanna know what is so funny (and frustrating at this point), I STILL DID NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING NOR WAS I AWARE OF IT UNTIL A FEW MONTHS LATER. Like i legit wrote comments on that video such as "i am the owner of minecrafthappyhappy com" or "i pooped my pants" or "this vid is so spooky" and if this isn't convicing enough for you that i did not believe any of this, then idk what else would. And here comes the really "questionable" part that i honestly don't know what to say or think about. I know this will sound like a massive strech to a lot of people but when Matias sent me his 3rd video about minecrafthappyhappy com, that was the officialy the last time i ever heard from him. It's really hard to put this into words that you can imagine but like i am not even joking about this part at all. His last message was back in december 2023 on discord and i am pretty sure i sent him around 8-10 messages asking where he is, if this was real, why did he "dox" himself etc but it's like he completely disappeared from the internet and idrk what he's up to tbh. If this sounds fake then i honestly won't blame anyone because from time to time when i think about this again, i am still kind of stuck between hoping this was some absoulete best prank ever in history of pranks or all of this was real and something might have happened to him but idk.
