You, Sir could have approached Dr. Valson to know his basic reasons for a change in the format of burial ,instead of initiating a fight between a couple of Christians. Jesus said : " If you have a problem with your brother you meet him and settle it amicably. Pl. don't wash dirty linen in public " . It seems that you also move on the track of Determinism, prescribed by God in defiance of Free Will of man. In this context, I wish to add : Who is the Creator of Thirumeni? God or man? Here, there is also a spark of Elitism. Again, Verse Math. Ch. 25-40 speaks aloud that ultimately the ideal place of worship is a charitable home. Moreover Jesus came to the world to serve people in need, and not to enjoy service from others. Nowadays, the long coat of Priest has already been torn by Villainous Corona. Earlier, some people in the Coat used to worship God with a long exercise of lungs for a replay of ritualistic ,soulless service ( instead of upholding the Values of Life). I am anxious to know whether anyone of our Thirumenees has taken some pains to go out of their AC Bungalow in moving Villa to see how the unemployed workers live in roofless huts sharing poverty! I really regret to record here most priests are worried about unemployment, consequent on closure of temples of God ( which were already converted to some shopping centres ! ) In the premise of floppy Free Will, the Author of Sin is, of course, debatable. Priest(with the gloves of immunity from sin) can't hand over the panacea against Sin in Holy Communion any more., and hence Institutional Salvation can't be practised any more. As a Marthomite and as a fellow member of the CMTC, I had also posted the following response to Valsan Thampu’s post on Facebook : There is a famous saying “if you don’t know where you have come from, you don’t know where you are going.” Traditions are an integral part of the MarThoma faith. Though there are some Marthomites who try to find “greenery” elsewhere, most of us take pride in our Marthomite faith and are loyal to our church and its traditions. After seeing Valsan Achen’s recent video on Facebook, as an individual with centuries of Marthoma blood and vigor (both grandfathers and great grandfathers all priests of the Marthoma church), don’t think that all Marthomites will swallow your propaganda lying down. Your choice of the timing to put up this video, when Marthomites all over the world are grieving the loss of their Metropolitan, is both malicious and despicable. Criticizing our tradition of burying our bishops in a sitting upright position, on the day our Metropolitan was put to rest, is an indication of how low you would stoop to advance your propaganda. Contrary to what you stated in your video where you say bishops are buried in a sitting position to show off superiority, bishops are believed to be successors of the Apostles, who Jesus promised will sit on the throne to judge the 12 tribes of Israel at the last judgement. Bishops are buried sitting to symbolize this promise. "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (Matthew 19:28). The absurd comments you make in the video like saying “there might not be qualified priests and bishops in the MarThoma church, and that’s probably why I was called by Chrysostom Thirumeni” is far from the truth. I am not quite sure why you think so highly of yourself! Do you actually think in a church with highly qualified clergy and bishops (most bishops have a doctoral degree), we would actually have a problem finding qualified leaders??? I cannot comment on your personal issues with Coorilos Thirumeni because I have not heard both sides of the story. But, you are right on one thing. Many youth of Indian origin living abroad are very disillusioned. They find it difficult to fit perfectly into Western or Eastern tradition and as a consequence are swayed to whatever “glitters more.” As a church that embraced reformation in the 1800’s at an age and time when it was considered condemnable to question age old rituals and traditions, I don’t think the MarThoma Church needs any tutoring on how to adapt to the changing needs of its youth today!

With ref to disillusioned youths ( or even adults) - *Many do not know the foundations of their faith, hence disillusioned* Church History, Traditions and Rituals are not the foundations of faith. The gospel of Christ is . Preach the gospel , not church history ( many perspectives ) You can have faith in the civil engineer and the architect and so you ride the elevators. Abraham did as he was told because he had faith in the CREATOR. Do we have faith in our creator? or are we still aligning to Darwanin's gospel or is it the scientists gospel? Worship is obeying the creator and it happens everyday ( Ref Psalms) Many come in the name of Jesus ( false teachers are plenty ) and talk about the Bible. Sadly these *eloquent speakers focus on themselves and not on the Creator* , hence the disillusionment. We are not in search of truth hence *we live a life in darkness , hence disillusioned* . People who have positions or some kind of fame think can speak anything and everything and that is to be considered as wisdom talk. Be it Prof. Valsan or similar individuals. Possibly during this pandemic circumstances, many have no better work hence use social media to talk and speak out anything. Positions or authority or fame at times are being misued even at public forum by such individuals. Fortunately the social media and other platforms also give back befitting replies to such opinions expressed to such individuals . Why can't such people like Dr.Valsan work for the ecumenical relationship of Christian mainline Church denominations, instead of dividing and criticising. If at all have to express their opinion , should speak against the so many growing cult groups, newly formed new generation clubs ( who call themselves as Churches) and making huge money by their self styled spiritual leaders in the name of Christian spirituality. Kerala is one main centre of such New generation clubs and cult groups,self styled prophets and pastors. Will Dr.Valsan speak or express his opinion on this growing spiritual cult and clubs misleading people of the mainline church denominations ??

I would really appreciate if Mr. Babuji Maramon proved Dr. Valson Thampu wrong, in his speech video and people would not bother to see Dr. Thampu’s videos. With sarcastic comments it only gives Dr. Valson Thampu more publicity, as people like me would like to know the matter and get attracted to Dr. Thampu’s speech videos. I too critically examined the speech of Dr. Valson Thampu but my common sense failed to prove him wrong. At least Marthoma priests should have proved him wrong or, even the priest who commented to this video and he too could not, which even gives an opinion even priests are not capable to prove Dr. Thampu’s speech wrong. So, if this case has to be adjudicated, Dr. Valson Thampu cannot be proved wrong in his speech video. No doubt Marthoma Bishops in God’s service even maintain celibacy too and are really honored, unlike CSI/CNI Bishops with kids, family and less said better of the Court cases, etc. To me it seems all CSI/CNI Priests get a US, Europe posting/transfer like Customs Officers given Airport postings and after that tenure, God Blesses them. These too don’t have any relevance to Dr. Valson Thampu’s speech video, so better if matters put up are issued based, proving Dr. Valson Thampu as wrong, than passing sarcastic remarks beating around the bush.

Christianity is not about Thirumenis or Church Councils or the rich and powerful members with political affiliations. Marthoma Church belongs to the poor humble Christians who donated to the Church so that Church leaders will serve the Lord and spread the Gospel. It is totally the opposite what is happening. It is understandable. Where ever true Gospel is preached satan sends his emissaries slowly and steadily changing it. No doubt marthoma church is changed totally the true Gospel is not preached any more . Any church which doesn't preach the uniqueness of Christ and His salvation thru the shed blood and equip its adherents to be carriers of the Gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit , that is a fake church. Marthoma is become one like that. Marthomites every where wake up !! Remember Abraham Malpan ,Kochukunju upadeshi and thousands of men and women of the yester years who prayed and donated to this church. Remember their witness and Sacrifice. Serve the Lord. Fear God and turn to the Word of God . Resist the devil. Forget about the leaders . They have sold their souls to the Devil. There is no love of God in them anymore.

Paul's defence before the JEW CHURCH COUNCIL Kindled fire for a quarrel between Sadducees and Pharisees and the quarrel became violent enough to tore Paul off.The very next day some Jews(they were induced by the Jew-Christians)who had a vow to kill Paul forced the high priest,to request the commander,to bring Paul down to the high priest,where he can be killed.The commander who had secret report,handed him over to the Roman-governor-Felix at Caesarea.Five days after,the high priest with his lawyer came with charges against Paul.Felix who was well informed about THE WAYS,Kept his case pending till Festus occupied his chair.After Festus has arrived the province he paid a visit to Jerusalem,where the high priest and leaders came with charges against Paul.The Jews who had a plot to kill Paul,for the second time,requested to bring Paul back to Jerusalem.Paul being kept a Caesarea Festus ordered them to be there.After he has reached his office he sat down to decide the case.Paul defended himself that he had done nothing wrong against"The Laws of Jews"or temple or the Emperor.Festus who wanted to gain favour with the Jews,enquired weather he is willing to go to Jerusalem.Paul objected him,saying that he is standing before the Emperor's own court,where he should be tried.Festus confering with his advisers allowed Paul's appeal to go to the Emperor.Festus who hadn't any reason to charge against Paul,consulted with king Aggrippa.Aggrippa advised Festus that he could have been relised if he hadnt appealed to the Emperor.The governor the Episcopal church-believers and the Jews hadn't any other option.So Paul was really banished to Roam.At Roam the accusers hadn't any representation against Paul.So he need not go before the Emperor.Paul tried to convince the Jews there about the Good News but his attempt was in vain.Paul spent the rest of his life-time for gospel among Gentiles.

അച്ചായ മുന്നോട്ടുപോകാം. വത്സൻ തമ്പു പരുമല തിരുമേനിയെ പറ്റി പ്രസംഗിച്ച ഒരു പ്രസംഗം യൂട്യൂബ് കിടപ്പുണ്ട്. ഒരു നാലു വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള യൂട്യൂബ് വീഡിയോ ആണ് നാലുവർഷം മുമ്പ്. അദ്ദേഹം പരിശുദ്ധ പരുമല തിരുമേനി യെ പറ്റിയുള്ള ഒരു പ്രഭാഷണം പരുമലയിൽ വച്ചു നടത്തി. നന്നായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻറെ പ്രസംഗം ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിറ്റി തന്നെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുക എന്ന് നമുക്ക് പറയാൻ പറ്റില്ല. കാരണം അദ്ദേഹം വസ്തുത ഇപ്പോൾ പറയുന്നു.

ബഹുമാന്യൻ ആയ ബാബുജി സാർ, താങ്കളുടെ ഈ വീഡിയോ കണ്ടതിൽ നിന്നും ബഹുമാന്യനായ ഒരു വ്യക്തി തന്നെയാണ് എന്നുള്ളതിന് സംശയം ഇല്ല. തകളും ആചാരങ്ങളെയും ജാതീയ കീഴ്വഴക്കങ്ങളെയും പിന്താങ്ങുന്ന ആളല്ല എന്നാണ് മനസിലാകുന്നത്. ഞാനും ആ ലൈനിൽ ചിന്ദിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തിയാണ്. ബാബുജിസാറേ, വത്സൻ തമ്പു എന്ന ആൾ സ്ഥാനമാണങ്ങൾക്കോ പണത്തിനോ പുറകേ പോകുന്ന ഒരാൾ അല്ല എന്നത് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പരിചയമുള്ള ഏതൊരു വ്യക്തിക്കും അറിയാവുന്ന കാര്യമാണ്. മാർതോമയിലെ ബിഷോപിന്റെ ഭൗദീക ശരീരം മറവു ചെയ്തതിനെ കുറിച്ച്, വത്സൻ തബു പ്രതിപാദിച്ച രീതിയേയും, അവസരത്തെയും കുറിച്ച്, ഒരു മാർത്തോമക്കാരനായ താങ്കളുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തെ ഞാൻ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ല ; എന്നാൽ ഒരു സത്യം താങ്കൾ മനസിലാക്കണം, അദ്ദേഹം CSI യിലെയും, CNI യിലെയും മറ്റിതര സഭകളിലെയും ദുരാചാരങ്ങളെയും, തെമ്മാടിത്തരങ്ങളെയും എതിർത്തു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരാളാണ്. അദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വന്തം സഭയിലെ തലപ്പത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ആൾക്കാരെയും നല്ലരീതിയിൽ തന്നേ ഇപ്പോഴും വിമർശികുന്നും ഉണ്ട്‌. പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരുകാര്യം സാറു പറഞ്ഞത്, മാരാമൺ കൺവൻഷന് പ്രസംഗിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നുള്ളതാണ്. ശരിയാണ് വത്സൻ തമ്പു മാരാമണ്ണിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അയാൾ അതിന് യോഗ്യൻ എന്നു സഭാനേതൃത്വത്തിനു ബോധ്യമുള്ളതു കൊണ്ടല്ലേ അദ്ദേഹത്ത വിളിച്ചത്? അല്ലാതെ തെണ്ടിത്തിരിഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്ന ഒരാളല്ലേ രക്ഷപെട്ടു പോകട്ടെ എന്നുപറഞ്ഞാണോ പ്രാസംഗികൻ വിളിച്ചത്. സാറിന്റെ ആ പ്രസ്താവനയോട് യോജിക്കാൻ പ്രയാസം ഉണ്ട്‌. നേരത്തേ ബിഷോപ്മാരേ ഇരുത്തി മൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് ഇപ്പോൾമാത്രമേ കുഴപ്പും ഉളോ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്നതിലും യുക്തിയൊന്നും കാണുന്നില്ല. മാർത്തോമാ സഭ എന്തിനുണ്ടായിക്കി ? നേരത്തേ നിന്നിരുന്ന സഭയിലെ ദുരാചാരങ്ങളും, അന്ധവിശ്വസങ്ങളും തെറ്റാണു എന്നുപറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടല്ലേ ഭക്തൻമാരായ പിതാക്കന്മാർ എതിർപ്പിന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്തി പിരിഞ്ഞു പോയത്. ഇരുത്തി മൂടുന്ന രീതിയൊക്കെ മാറ്റാൻ മാർതോമയിലെ തന്നേ വിശ്വസികൾ മുന്കൈ എടുക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. എവിടെനിന്നാണ് ഈ കീഴ് വഴക്കം കിട്ടിയത്. യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ഇരുത്തിയാണോ അടക്കിയത്? മരിച്ചവർക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രാത്ഥിക്കേണ്ടകാര്യം ഇല്ലെന്നു പറയുന്ന മാർത്തോമ്മാസഭ ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള പാരമ്പര്യം തുടരുന്നത് നാണക്കേട് തന്നെയാണ്. അതുകൊണ്ട് ബാബുജിസാർ ഒന്നുകൂടി ചിന്തിച്ചു സഭയിലെ ദുരാചാരങ്ങൾ മാറ്റുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി പരിശ്രമിക്കുക. ദൈവം താങ്കളെ അതിന് പ്രാപ്തനാകട്ടെ. താങ്കൾക്കും മാർത്തോമ്മാസഭക്കുവേണ്ടിയും പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിർത്തുന്നു.

ഏതൊരു ക്രിസ്തു വിശ്വാസിയും അറിയേണ്ടുന്ന സതൃം ഃ- History of Christian churches?:- CHRIST IS TRUTH! There were two types of churches during the first century . They were Episcopal and Gospel churches. Episcopal church was established by three disciples of Christ viz john,Peter and James(sons of Sabethy or they were earlier, disciples of Baptist John. When Christ started his independent ministry, they joined Him. Yo-hannanh-n(John)was their 1st chief bishop(EPISCOPA).Their church was named as"Nassarayans ''and their headquarter was at Jerusalem. Their preaching was known as "Epistles" ie,beliefs based on epics or belief giving importance to Episcopasy or priesthood(epics =പുരാണം അതായത് പൗരോഹിതൃ ചരിത്റത്തിലധിഷ്ടിതമായ) . The Episcopal Church introduced Christ as a monarch and compared Christ to David and Solomon. They accepted psalms of David and proverbs and songs of Solomon as adages or books of divine knowledge. The Episcopas followed the custom of anointing, their successors and colleagues. The GOSPEL church was established by Paul. They accepted the name"Christians"and their headquarter was at Anthioc. Their leaders were know as Teachers and their teaching was Gospel or Good News. They taught Christ as a democrate and they taught Christ only. Christ had not any other model character than Him.They accepted the practice of shaking hands each other, like brothers, when ever they departed for Gospel. Paul along with Peter also establised churches at different places, when they had a joined gospel. After a short period with Paul,Peter returned to his own asylum (Episcopal church).{NB All the Letters to the churches are not Epistles. A few of them are Epistles, all others are Gospel or Good news. Both,Episcopas and Paul,had letters to their own churches). Being convinced by Anannias,Paul became a beliver of Christ and joined Peter in his Episcopal ministry. At that time both of them had baptizised Jews to make them church members. During this period Paul who was a scholar of Old tesstament could convince; Peter about the necessity of teaching among gentiles,quoting, prophecies as well as Words of Christ that "HE WOULD BE A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES. " A sheet being lowered with all types of animals requesting,to kill and eat ie,gospel to Gentiles also. The Episcopal church was against Gospel to Gentiles(non-Jewi)who hadn't accepted circumcision. When the news about their Gospel reached the church at Jerusalem they sent Barnabs and some others to Antioch, summoning Peter and Paul to Jerusalem. Peter surrendered to the Episcopal will, but Paul evaded them. Barnabas was attracted by Paul and joined him. Paul accompanied by Burnabas,continued gospel, to Gentiles as well as Jews living in Gentile's countries. JOHN-Mark was there with them. Once again the Church at Jerusalem sent Juda,Silas and a few others to Antioch,summoning Paul and Burnabas to Jerusalem. Burnabas yielded to the Episcopal pressure. Paul did not give ear to them. All others except Silas were sent back to Episcopas, who had sent them there. It may be due to the regular compulsion of the Episcopas,Silas and John-Mark left Paul one by one. Episcopal-spys went behind Paul and disturbed him where ever he went.They stirred up the Jews against Paul, accusing him, against their ancestral beliefs and practices. At last Paul was arrested on his way and exhibited before the belivers there, reminding them, about the fate of those who disobey the ancestral beliefs. He was brought back to Jerusalem and produced before the Episcopa-James, accusing Paul,against Jewish conventional beliefs and practices(James was an Episcopa. John was the first Episcopal-high-priest).James and church leaders questioned Paul instructing him (Act 21st 20-21) "Brother you can see how many thousands of Jews have become believers and how devoted they are to "The Law". They have been told that you have been teaching all the Jews who live in Gentile countries to abandon"The Laws of Mosses"telling them not to circumcise their children or follow the Jewish customs). That will give you an idea about Paul] *Paul wrote to Timothy reminding him that (1,Timothy 1st 3-4) "some people are teaching false doctrines and you must order them to stop.Tell them to give up those legends and those long list of ancestors which only produce arguments,they do not serve God's plan,which is known by faith". Paul wrote to Titus(Titus 1st 14, No longer hold on to Jewish legends and human commandments which come from people who have rejected the Truth(CHRIST IS TRUTH). Christ and Paul were against baptism. 1CORINTHINS 1st 17, Christ did not send me to baptize. He sent me to tell Good News. Christ contempted Baptist John as one among sons of women ie, one among many denominal teachers of Judicism. He and his baptism has not any importance in Christian belief that is heavenly
