So basically, Nate is not retiring, he's just going on hiatus. Nate definitely changed my life and I still love Sandcastle Kingdoms and Paid In Exposure (which were albums that got me into listen to albums and not just songs) and I'm still getting in To Let Go and a lot of the music I listen nowadays has been in part thanks to Nate. I don't know what the future holds but I bet the music that comes will be even better than the past three albums and let's see what Nate does in the future with Pokemon and future projects, I'm really thankful for Nate and his music and wish him the best in hiatus-land. See you with the release of Save Nerdcore Rock and The Young Nate Chronicles film. PD: does anybody now which band is My Comical Romance, it's totally not related to a band formed by Gerard & Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro and the drummer they keep changing, right?

I mean... you and Dookie have kind of always felt like that lmao, no offense meant, especially when you both keep bringing Nate&Dookie back, then Dookie said in the last Nate&Dookie oh yeah I might be picking it back up. This is not a jab or to offend, just... damn I don't want to sound like an asshole lol, but it doesn't feel too different, but at the same time... it does feel more official, more real, because those last times might've been forced or accidentally just forgetting to upload. That's the key difference, where some of us may laughingly say nah this is just typical them... this is real. To which yeah I applaud you Nate, you deserve it, that you're a full on "real" musical artist. Not that that's a jab either, putting real in quotations, not from me at least, just a lot of bigger musicians may brush you aside, being a youtuber. Kind of happened to Markiplier with In Space, he was a the award ceremony, but ooooh this youtuber isn't gonna win... to which now he's making a full on movie. It's a jab at the professionals, showing anyone can be an artist. Something I say frequently, and yeah I borrowed it from the movie Ratatouille, but... it's true, whether cooking is your art, music, drawing, directing, and now you can finally say you've done it, no one can laugh and call you a fake anymore. Us the fans knew it all along, but now they know it to, I couldn't be more happy and proud. I only wish and hope I can get to that point in my life as well, so congratulations, from the bottom of my heart Nate, live your freedom. Hell people like you are what inspire people to become musicians or youtubers themselves, and thus while you may have felt caged... that becomes someone else's freedom, then someday they may know your freedom that's beyond that freedom.

As someone who also creates art I totally get the shift of a mindset being all you need. Like if you have an obligation to draw something it all feels like you dont wanna do it but take that away and you go back to doing it and loving it.
