How likely do you think adults fans would of tried to befriend her? I went through something similar in that i was & still am looking for adults to befriend via/on the internet. Also i was dealing with effects of trauma. What happens(ed) is adults act like children on social media & the young act like adults in that many more of them attempt to take an interaction online seriously than there are adults who do. Very different in nothing at all sexual, lingerie, etc. but for a while there & unknowingly i was interacting with young people online talking about parenting & being an adult. Different than the KZbinr in that it seems she was aware of her fans ages while i was not. But same in that i can understand how odd it may seem to others but if you’re throwing content out there online & looking to befriend adults what can happen is adults treat you like a child & children act like adults.

@@hashtagmate (Sorry for this part, Idk what happened but I corrected a mistake and a whole word was erased and I don’t remember how I started it, I’m not gonna rewrite the entirety of it so just know that. FUCK KZbin) that’s why parents tell kids to not trust adults and you’re reinforcing the wrong idea; That gal wasn’t wrong for talking to kids, and you already know that I know how to read, but for being a litteral monster. A SANE AND NORMAL ADULT has still the right to talk to kids. The first and biggest reason why parents tell to not trust anyone is because they’re too lazy to teach signs so it feels like every adult on earth is a predator. Tell them that there are sick people trying to hug and touch them because they want love but it’s wrong the way they do because adults stay with adults and kids are BIOLOGICALLY not meant for that love, you don’t need to get into details if they’re young, if you know what to say they’ll understand the right parts Making kids believe any adult who will speak to them is bad or harmful is not only damaging for their education but also hypocritical. What about the very parents? The teachers, the family? They can be dangers too and suddenly nobody talks about it, and you gotta trust these adults unconditionally. That’s what’s wrong, you don’t realize it and I KNOW it’s not your intention but you’re helping abusive parents and acquaintances of victims Let’s just educate ourselves as adults and figure out why it’s always wrong to talk to unrelated kids ok? If I happened to sit waiting for bus and a kid sat next to me and started talking, this social norm tells me that I shouldn’t answer or shouldn’t help because they’re just a kid. I’ve seen this happen so many times when people are just people? Do you genuinely believe every adult is a potential groomer? Am I? Are you?

A 30-year-old who asks children if they are virgins and what is their favourite sex position is not a weirdo, or a loser. It's a perverse adult who is sexually harassing children. I cant really explain it properly but if you're interested I highly recommend the KZbin video Why the end of Jenna Marbles is the end of Authenticity by Donna as it explains what I'm trying to far better than I can. Long story short she came from a time in KZbin when it was treated almost like a video diary or journal, she was an OG and after nearly 15 years on the platform she was bound to have a video or 2 that would be deemed problematic by today's standards, and it was taken out of context for the time most of it was made.

Exactly and the whole part about her seeing the comments saying that she's gaslighting just proves she either is stupid enough to know its gaslighting and still do it or that she doesn't even know wtf the word even means..It's gross. She somehow lacked any thought into this and clearly her weird and inappropriate actions. She really thinks that this response isn't VERY obviously manipulative and gaslighting? she's in her 30s and I'm 23 and somehow more mature than her and know what manipulative and gaslighting words are and NOT TO DO IT. Her saying "Fuck me right?" is just " so I'm the bad guy right?" tactic. So, the face filter is almost definitely a deliberate choice. Making oneself appear younger is a manipulation tactic often used by pr or legal teams to make someone appear less guilty, especially used in television interviews and court appearances. The idea is they appear more childlike and are more likely to be viewed in an empathetic light.

the way she gets so close to apologizing but then burrows back into her own head reminds me of a fight I had with an ex-friend (college students) where he said "I already apologized to you" (this was all in text btw) but when I looked back at our messages, the closest thing I found was basically 'I have been stressed with school and work so if I've been negative that makes sense, but you should have brought it up to me better' (He literally confronted me in dms after I "sounded upset" ONE time for like 5 seconds, to which I explained clearly what was bothering me). Some people think that if you're "too" mad at them, they don't have to apologize to you. Colleen already decided how people were gonna react to her before she even did the thing people were supposed to react to. What somebody else did wrong is separate from what you did wrong.

@matheusscharer8265 Жыл бұрын
@@blaze556922 even if you don't think what she did was criminal, it still isn't right to talk sexually with minors. Even if it's just a "joke", it's an overstepping of boundaries that you as an adult are responsible to set. If she were a teacher and she was in a group chat with her students and talked that way, she would've been fired. Just because she's famous doesn't excuse gross behavior. There's also a power dynamic there. She was, and is, a grown woman. Those were children. She took advantage of children, using them for free labor. Along with imo, being a generally bad person. She conned these kids into thinking they were "friends" and what she was doing and saying was okay, then going and talking shit about these, again, kids, to her adult friends. You can think she did nothing, or minimal things wrong or not believe the allegations. But in my eyes, if that many people say the same things, have screen shots, voice messages, etc, and then your apology is a shitty, self indulgent "song", it's hard to believe you're innocent and don't know what you did was wrong. She didn't say anything past "these kids lied about me" while providing no evidence past hurt feelings. Sorry a grown woman got her feelings hurt because she groomed kids. Allegedly. In my opinion.

@@setheus I remember saying something along those lines on Mr. Beard’s video about her (the transphobic singer) and then about five minutes after I posted that comment she saw it and went “umm actually” and ranted about how the ukulele was originally from Portugal like… first of all I didn’t tag her in my comment, she sought the video out and specifically replied to my comment just to correct me. Second, ukes are commonly (if not entirely) associated with Hawaiian culture, no one cares where they’re originally from. Technically apple pie was originally English, but it’s become such a well known piece of Americana that you can’t think of one without thinking of the other. Thirdly and finally, way to miss the entire point, y’know? She really saw me lamenting the fact that a piece of my culture has now partially become associated with her terrible rhetoric and she went “it’s not actually your culture though if you look at the place of origin.” Then a few days later she deleted her reply cause she got ratioed and I just find that so extremely hilarious lol
