You need to go to Wally's in Missouri. It's a similar style with sort of a vacation theme. It's not as big as Bucees but they are larger than other gas stations and they have some good food.

Started working for the biggest Buc-ee's in the world in Sevierville TN location 2 months ago. We have 128 gas pumps, 74,000 sq ft. Ocala FL will be the next Buc-ee's in 2025 which will become the biggest Buc-ee's around 80,000 sq ft. The Chopped Brisket along with that Beef Burrito are by far of my 2 favorite goodies at Buc-ee's!

Another fun fact about Buc-ee’s expansion: the company sells gas at a loss so they can lure people into the store because they make so much money on their food, merchandise, etc. When they wanted to expand into Alabama, they weren’t able to do that because there’s an Alabama law that restricts companies from selling gas below cost.

The sliced brisket is also great. Not as salty and drenched with with bbq sauce. Glad you found the salsa/hot sauce for the burrito because in the chaos of so many food choices, the sauce is often forgotten…and definitely kicks it up a notch. The brisket tacos are the best.

The food is great, and the places are very nice. But there is a very dark side to the family that owns Buc-ee's. They are a very unfriendly family. You would not know it because they do offer nice pay packages for employees but the inner family is very hateful and extremely rude to people outside of cameras and the public. The best Florida brisket I ever had was outside of Tallahassee at a place called The Red Shed. I believe Mr the Woo would absolutely love the place due to the setup/look and quality of food, seems like a kind of spot he would stop at while passing by. The reason why I commented though was the price. They charged $10 total for the sandwich, which was slightly smaller than the one in the video here. So that $8.45 price isn't bad, especially if it is tasty.

Bucee's business model requires discouraging loitlering. Visit the Pensacola location the next time you head west on I-10 and you'll see why. If you stop at the Luling location again around noon, much better BBQ can be had in town or further up in Lockhart. We still stop at Bucee's afterwards for drinks, however. Luling/Lockhart BBQ places would make a good video. Wonderful thiiings.

Too funny…I live and work in Luling Texas, and work a mid-day shift to where I get off at 10:30 pm. So, when I get off most food places are closed. I was hungry after work last night and hit up Buc-ees and got a chopped beef bbq sandwich with Buc-ees chips as well. Good eatin’! Also got a salted caramel rice crispy treat, & it’s a great dessert!
