As a Czech, I gotta say, the pecan koláč looks very good and pretty close to traditional, as for the non-sweet ones, you wouldn't find that here in Czech Republic :D The closest thing to that for us would be something quiche-like. A whole pie. BTW fun fact, koláč just means pie or cake, also koláče is plural, koláč is singular, so it's pretty funny to hear Americans referring to koláče as singular and koláčes as plural :D That said I'd stuff my mouth with pretty much everything they had there tho

My grandparents (on my mom's side) use to live in New Braunfels, but sadly have both passed away.... and they didn't have a Buc-ees when we'd go to visit... if they would have tho my dad probably would've stopped there on the way to their house and then again on our way back home!! Love the video!!

There were many Czech immigrants to Texas and the Czech’s certainly influenced the food here.

There's so many Czech immigrants around here they named a town Prague (just north of Texas in Oklahoma.) Yukon, OK has a big Czech community too, they built the famous Czech Hall back in 1899 where they continue polkaing and drinking pivo to this day.

Here's an idea for you Mikey! You should make some kind of Hot sauce and Chili oil holster that you can strap on your belt! Seems like the Texan thing to do and you'll never be without your favorite condiments! :)

Wow! That is some outstanding gas station food. The BBQ looks awesome. It's amazing how good food can be at a gas station sometimes. One of my favorite Mexican places is in a gas station and a really good Indian food place is located at a truck stop gas station near me.

It’s fun watching your videos. You approached Buc-ee’s with the same enthusiasm as you would a top-level restaurant and you give an honest opinion of what you do and don’t like at either. I’m glad to see your choices mostly meting or exceeding your expectations.

I'm from Austin, now living in Tokyo for almost two years. This is the Buc-ees I'd go to when going to visit family in San Antonio. Can't wait until it's feasible for me to visit home again. I need some good BBQ and Tex-Mex.

I used to announce roller derby which often would take me to Texas. On our way to a bout the Missus suggested we stop. I'd never been before but thought 'it's a gas station, what's the fuss?' We stopped on the way back and was in awe! My wife is usually right. If you go away from Buc-ees hungry, you did something wrong.

But in S.Tx you have Stripes with the Laredo Taco Co that we don't have in N.Texas. They make the best breakfast tacos with really good handmade right there flour tortillas plus good salsa to put on it all.

If this ends without you trying regular beaver nuggets I'm gonna cry. Get the beaver cookies and the regular beaver nuggets. Get the banana pudding fudge. I always feel so proud of being a Texan to watch other people experience what we have to offer 🥰

In Texas if you have to use sauce means its subpar BBQ. The best stand on their own and are not dry.
