My return to the off grid cabin in Canada

First time up at the cabin after the long winter. I am really happy that the cabin is ok and has not been damaged or vandalised. I am also really happy the Growatt started straight up and that I have power! It's a good sign! Take care, Scott

It's lovely up here but you have to hike or quad up to it as there is no road. That's what appealed to us but it's not everyone's cup of tea though. Take care, Scott

Hello from Alberta and yes, the wildfires season has been atrocious. But yesterday it finally poured rain and , at least in the south, and for today, our air is sweet and clean! 👍😎🇨🇦🌲💦

most of these fires are started intentionally ..arson . A woman in Alberta was caught and had 37 charges

I hope one day I own a cabin like that. but mice yuck rat poison . Can you not park your car near the cabin ? Rosemary, lavender, basil, mint, citronella and catnip also may help discourage insect pests ,. Ornamental flowers believed to be effective at deterring troublesome bugs include marigolds, alliums, chrysanthemums, petunias and geraniums.

I don't have any mice in my cabin. My cabin is on stilts and this keeps all the little critters away. The only way up to the cabin is either hiking or using a quad bike. There isn't a road, just a trail. Take care, Scott
