I have been wanting the cerium vest, but I keep getting confused if I want a down vest or an insulated vest , like the atom vest . I feel like the down vest needs more attention with washing etc

I really don't think that there would be any more cleaning necessary for the cerium than the atom. I think that the biggest difference would be in warmth. The cerium should be a warmer vest than the atom LT. But also keep in mind that the down doesn't like to get wet in the rain.

@@meandmyjackets I see, and thank you for replying. So if the down vest/jacket doesn’t like being wet, does that apply also for when we sweat?

@@konstantinos_iliadis I would assume so, but you have the ability to unzip and open it up when you're too hot, or remove layers. But when it's pouring rain you don't have control over that.

Sorry, I don't own that jacket. Hopefully sometime in the future. I'd like to do a comparison of the parka to the therme jacket too. :)
