I have the same Jayco trailer and F250. I used a Reese Sidewinder and it has worked well for me. I also installed the Acutrac system to raise the trailer.

How much does that unit weigh that it is too heavy for an F250?

Trailer is a half ton series & the weight is about 9k. My truck GVWR is 10k.

Looks like you can adjust the hitch on the 5th wheel to lower position

Nice setup, we were close to getting the regular Jayco Eagle but they were too heavy for my truck. Has the Jayco been good quality overall?
