Watching you play this has made me understand why people like watching sports. I'm on the edge of my seat with each good play and each fumble. I do wanna point out the *particular* emotional roller coaster around 37:30 where you're puzzling out how to do the rivers and you say "I can't put the plains here" and then a few seconds later you... put the plains there anyway and messed up the river xD. The last battle before the boss, with the river castle really going perfect had me worried because at the start you were like "We need woods on one side, river in the middle, and enemies on the other side" and I was thinking that made sense and sounded perfect. And then instantly you started putting river on an edge instead of the middle and I got so nervous lol. Huge fan of watching you play, can't wait for the full release of the game. Also man, love your voice and general attitude going into playing n stuff :D

Thanks so much for the kind words. I used to stress seeing NL misplay Isaac back in the day, then when I started making videos I realised how easy it is to miss simple stuff when you're playing and narrating at the same time against the clock! So hyped for 1.0 of this :)

You could keep an enemy base on "e" to avoid fighting them :)

34:24 "I didn't get anything from the supposed upgrade of that, which is... unideal." "You'll receive 100 gold plus the resources you've spent to upgrade it." Emphasis on "resources you've spent". That farm started at level 2, so you spent nothing to upgrade it.

Early comment. How is River Castle not the worst card in the game. You get 1 unit per connected tile,, so that is already really really low like half of what the ranger base does for forests. Then, more than half the maps have 0 rivers? AND, it does nothing if you dont manage to connect it to 15 tiles. With requirements like that it feels like it should be 4 units per tile. Going to be interesting to see how that works. Maybe picking up a river card guarantees you always have a choice of a river map? And you just always have to choose that map? AND, rivers are somehow way easier to connect compared to forests so you just pretty much get ~100% use of all river tiles in a good match?

Ranger base is per _piece_ not per tile. It's a lot worse than it seems.
