I'm the founder of the Dora High School fishing team. I'm graduated now but I still help out when I can. I know some kids on the team that are new to fishing and could use some gear. I've been using your rods for a long time and having something that shows the technique for that action I could see our kids being more confident in what there throwing.

It's a tough industry, and competition is fierce. There are too many rod builders with a niche design. I would love to see you donate them to the wounded warriors who fish.

Man I really like the idea of donating to a high school team near you Jordan. You’re gonna have young anglers very much appreciate any gear/tackle they can get without having to pay for it. It could make a difference some a young angler to discover a technique he or she may not get to try because the lack of a technique specific rod.

You could donate them to Heroes on the water. It is a organization that takes veterans out on the water for a day of fishing from kayaks. They are nation wide and you should have a chapter close to you. It would be tax deductible also.

Hey Jordan, I am High School Coach in Forsyth Missouri, and last year, we had 14 teams competing in the Missouri National Youth Fishing Association Series. If you would consider sharing with a school team it definitely makes a difference in a young anglers point of view. We had a local angler share some time with our teams just a couple of months ago and he share tips on making jigs and shared several baits from one of his sponsors. This was so much of an amazing experience. My youth anglers loved the one to one scene and it made a difference for a pro to share time and experience with them.

I would love to have one of your 6'8" rods. If I were you, I would hold onto that one Frog rod. I was waiting for that bad boy to snap when you were reeling that one big bass in. You put everything you had into that one. That is a killer rod. It might be time to talk to LEWS.

I have approximately 40-50 of your signature rods. I use them during pre-fishing and for my tournaments. They are priced in my range what I wanted spend on a rod and never had one break or have an issue. I'm currently waiting for 4 more to be shipped by TW. Just a suggestion...every time you go to a boat ramp near or around your house bring 5-10 various rods. Walk up to a kid and/or adult fishing from a dock or bank. Give them one rod each of their choice and then politely ask them if they would subscribe to your channel.

These Jordan Lee signature rods are not too bad. I lost my Veritas, so I bought a Jordan Lee Signature 6'6" MHF for a top water rod. I have another Jordan Lee rod from a combo. That rod caught several fish using 3.25" swimbaits. But I never see the Jordan rods in the stores for sale. That's why the sales were low. Bought them on the Abu Garica online site or Expo show.

I work at a VA medical center in Central Louisiana. Our campus has a pond for the Veterans to fish. Our team of recreational therapists try to bring the nursing home patients and our homeless rehabilitating patients there to fish. For some, it's their last fishing trips, and for others it's maybe their first trip. Unfortunately the fishing gear they're using is a mixture of worn out, old, and cheap. It would mean more than we could even imagine of they knew they were fishing with some of your actual rods. Some of them have fished with the 2 Jordan Lee combo's of mine, I've let them borrow. That would mean so much to them if they were able to catch a fish with a genuine Pro's rod. I'm almost certain our recreational dept. would pay shipping for a few rods. Heck, I'd pay for it, myself. If that's something you'd be willing to do, I can email you our recreational department address.

What a great video and I LOVE the idea that you are looking for input from us,the viewers, of different ways to distribute these rods. Maybe an organization who takes people out fishing that have cancer to try to ease their minds, even if only for a few hours. A local "Big Brother or Big Sister" organization, for the less fortunate kids, but would find this opportunity amazing. Whatever you choose, i applaud you for thinking outside of the box and are willing to just "give them away." I appreciate you. Happy Holidays.

JL, I bought 3 of your Jordan Lee Series spin cast 7’ medium fast action skakey rods, been great sir! Caught quite a few decent smallies and some nice largies with no issues whatsoever. For $50 I will definitely buy 3 more. I think giving some to a high school team is a great idea. Good luck! Keep your head up. Hey Jordan, Merry Christmas. Your idea of giving them away is awesome, and to your advantage to get more name recognition, so if you can do it in person. Giving them away at tournaments is perfect idea. Also, if you have a lot team up with Ike and one of his kids' events and hand them out there or another group that will promote the sport. Although winning the Bass Masters Classic is another way... 😊

I need the right 7'6" rod for 10 lb braid, 2500 size reel, and specifically for 1/8-3/8 jig heads with soft plastics. If you have a model like that I'm interested. I bet a veteran organization could find vets who would love to have your old rods.

I might be able to tell you why they did k no or sell as good. One is not enough stores carried them. I bought one and the tip end was bent/warped to the left. The first 2-3 guides out from the reel seat were dead on, then next few leaned to the right. The last few leaned too far to the left. The material may have been good, but they were k no or built straight at all. I bought mine because I saw other guys snapping rods just setting hooks, and I saw you lifting some large bass into the boat with your rods. So I bought one. Still have not used it and have had it for over a year. I have leaned it I. A corner to see if the tip will straighten, and it seems it is. So maybe next spring I will get to try it out. Your name means something. Next time find a better rod builder. I also prefer cork. Everyone has gone away from cork. There are some on the tour who have cork rods but I can’t afford those. Not a fan of the foam grips.

I see a lot of good comments and ideas. Sore giving to school fine. But I like the idea of you personally hanging to a kid or young angler. That has lots of personal meaning to it and that kid will all ways remember that. And more then likely take care of it and fish with it. That’s my number one answer. Number two would be the vets on the water or wounded vets sum thing like that. I thank you should pass them out there agin it will have good meaning behind it. That will take you a longways Jordan. 3rd give to school. Your sum one people like and look up to in fishing world. So I thank you should hand them out no matter what you decide. Make your self sum good luck! 👍

If you change your mind about shipping I would definitely pay to ship for some of the new kids on my son’s fishing team. I don’t ask about their financial state but do my best to make sure they have plastics (I started making baits to help keep the kids in the sport) Shoot I would donate some cash/baits to help you pay for shipping to other bass teams that may have some struggling anglers.

I honestly thought you were joking when you said “Nobody really knows who I am”. But in reality you are right I watch all bass tournaments and think you’re a legend. But most people really have no clue who you are.

I know who is, but i barely watch T.v or bassmasters anymore. Maybe because I'm 37 years old too.

I'd love to have one of your signature rods! I'm a solely Abu user! Sorry that you're having to go through this.

I don’t think having your name on the rod was a make or break by any means. You hit the nail on the head with them not being available in big box stores. Also, the $100 price point is probably $10-$20 high. Put these in Academy and Bass pro for $79-$89 and they’d sell like hot cakes I think. I’ve got all the cranking models and I think they’re great rods for techniques that I may not need the highest modulus most sensitive rod for.

I absolutely love the 7’ 9” punching rod from one of your previous videos. I ordered three more on Tackle Warehouse. Don’t sleep on these rods. 🙌🏼💯

Definitely, I never see rods at any stores. Got mine on the Abu Garica website.

If you would be willing our local kayak club would love to give some of these away to some of our youth guys fishing our tournaments. Specifically around guntersville and cullman.

Hey Mr. Jordan we have just started a fishing team within the last 4 years and have a lot of newer kids that can’t afford rods. we are in north alabama and would love to have you come to one of our meetings if you give rods away or not it’d be awesome to have you talk to our team if it’s possible. tight lines, Jake
