I bought a 2024 Z520r, and I was really skeptical because of all the bad publicity it has been receiving. Being a Ranger owner for many years I had to give it a chance, and I'm 100% glad I didn't listen to the B.S. it is the best Ranger I have ever owned. The fact os some of the old school fisherman Ranger dropped over the past few years have been salty and put bad information out there.

Agreed. I’ve got a 2025 and best boat I’ve ever owned. Anyone that is skeptical need to go tour the plant and see all of the patents in place and the team leaders that have worked there 20 to over 50 years.

Yeah my partner bought the same exact model and his opinion is a 180 from yours. And he's a life long ranger man. He wishes he had his pre-bass pro ranger back. So i guess everyone is different. After riding with him in it, all i can say is it rides like a lumber wagon.

I have a 2004 Ranger 185 VS with a 4 stroke Yamaha 150. It still looks good and runs good. Nothing rides like a Ranger.

My new 2022 had a number of issues,too many, and I'm still fighting with the dealership and Ranger to correct it after 1.5 years of ownership. Look it over well, but then again, it only has to last one season, whereas mine needs to last forever!!! LOL!!

I know for a fact I have owned rangers fiberglass and tin . Johnny morris boats are definitely built with better technology than Forrest wood ! I have a tin 198p right now and it is built a lot better especially the hull is beefed up more than the Forrest wood boats that were cracking ! The fiberglass I have owned the newer ones look a lot better and quality! So all the people saying bad stuff about them are just hating and they probably can’t afford them! Johnny morrris is a billionaire so no one can compete with him so there is a lot of hating😂

Hopefully Ranger changed those junk riveted storage locker hinges. My 2012 had 70 hrs whwn i bought it in 2020 and i have fixed 4 sets now. Its a major problem in the ranger pages and my buddy had a new one break in the same areas. My 97 champ had thru bolts. 10xbetter. Other than that its been a good boat. But yall dont keep boats over a season. So thats a big difference.

They look awsom, but after 75 hrs of use the rivets started rattling apart on most of the doors, holes followed out, repaired them with anchors and ss screws. Should have not ever happened,

Is it possible you guys (pro's) think the quality hasn't declined since Bass Pro bought Ranger because you don't own them long enough to see the issues start? I'm not talkin shit. Honest question. As I understand most Pro's sell their boats after 1 year.

Speaking from someone who owns them more than a year. Best Ranger ever built. Go tour the plant and see them built and then report back.

Rangers were the clear best for decades but when Bass Pro gets involved with anything quality suffers. The best boats have always been made in Arkansas but bass pro has no interest in developing employees or monitoring contracts or cost accounting.

I think the quality is still there. I know people like to say that but there is 0 plastic on this boat. If you ever get to look up close to one they are nice!
