I clicked on this video because I have the same bike, I was surprised to hear a local accent lol. The hole on the right where the mirror was affixed can be turned upside down, it hides quite well, just make sure it doesn't snag the cables 👍 I have the 2-2 Tec exhaust and it's amazing.Ive been riding for over 30 years and the interceptor is such a great fun and enjoyable bike

'Ello Guvna - congrats on the purchase. I have same year, same model bought new in here in California Bay Area in April 2022. 5k miles on it now. I took it to the dealer for the 300-mile service, but did the 3000 myself and plan on doing the 6000 myself too before summer. There are checklists online, so I'm saving completed copies in a little binder along with the parts receipts. I don't think self-servicing will void the warranty as long as everything is documented. Absolutely no mechanical problems except for the common gunked-up relay issue that acted up on me once on a hot California August day. After everything cooled down a little, it "healed" and I got home OK. It was an easy fix to clean the grease out of the stock relays, but I nevertheless bought new beefier relays anyway (about $15). No issues since, but we'll see what the summer heat does this year. The bike reminds me of the '66 Bonneville I had many years ago, and it's taken me a while to relax while riding the INT 650 - I find myself listening and watching for something to rattle off or short out, but nothing has so far (other than the relay-stalling thing) - way less vibration on the RE. Can't say I miss syncing the old Amal monoblocs and cleaning the points with a matchbook on the side of the road either; and don't really know what to do with my old whitworth wrenches. The only downside to the RE is that the gearshift and rear brake are on the wrong side (haha). The RE touring seat is worth the money. In CA we can split lanes so I didn't go for the bar-ends, but swapped in a sturdier pair of mirrors into the original holes. Also added the same clock you have to keep track of time away from the woman - it flies when you're having fun. I'm 6'1" and added the motone risers - big help but pricey. The thing is made to modify - crazy number of bolt-on parts available, so knock yourself out. Overall, I am very impressed and happy with the machine. Be prepared to make a lot of new friends of “a certain age" as well as a ton of older Indian brothers who "had an RE when they were young". A very reliable and fun putt. Sure you will like it. Thanks for the vids - I’ll be keeping tabs on you. 🙂 Oh, and those little black clips are there to keep your polyester trousers from melting on the heads when you’ve got your knees tucked in. I was disappointed with the Ceat tyres on my 2021 Continental GT and replaced them with a pair of Avon Roadriders which I can thoroughly recommend. No tracking problems, excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions and much improved ride quality. What’s not to like.

I was always a fan of Avon RR's and had them on my bikes when I was riding in the UK. Good to know they are performing well and will definitely keep them in mind! 🍻👍

For some mirrors I would agree but the halcyons seem to have limited visibility the other way around so I put them back the way they were when originally bought the bike. Probably for the same reason! Thanks for watching. 👍🍻
